Team 3 don't agree with the proposal because we think it puts too big an advantage to the Spy. Every time the Spy Team kill they have the chance of coming close to winning the game 'cause they just might have choosen the Detective. The only way we have to win the game is to arrest the Spy as it is unlikely they'll kill themselves. Passing that opportunity while the Spy Team don't pass theirs puts us at a disadvantage.

That being said, since close to all of you seem to agree with that idea we're gonna comply for now. We'll be voting ourselves.

That's a bit wrong. For Day 1, we should avoid arresting the Detective. After that, we'll have some information to work with.

@Fujiwara: I disagree with your reply. Not because what you say doesn't make sense, but because *people* don't always make sense and you've not accounted for general voter apathy.

The chance that someone who doesn't pay attention to this thread, doesn't know what we're arranging, and thus votes randomly to vote for us or Raifuujiwara is 20%. Not that high all things considered (i.e. if we were doing circular voting, one signle person deviating screwes things up). Besides, in case somebody does vote randomly and these 20% happen, arresting someone who suffers from geral voter apathy isn't a big disaster - certainly a lot better than arresting a civillian who pays attention to the game.

Always wonder where those random numbers are appearing from D:


And I agree with stoppy. Day 2 we won't have so much information. So avoiding random voting during Day 1 is a bit pointless. Even more so since you won't get info and random vote on Day 2 too because of that, where the chance to accidentally vote the Detective increases then (because one team will die for sure)

This time, I can only imagine the Spy team was just inactive and lost track of time. Would be great to hear from Kain/Jellitto, Kamite/Breva, and Robo/Meme. From what I can recall off-hand, Kain/Jellitto haven't posted much (or at all?). Understandably, they may not have had much to say yet, but it is a little suspicious that the inaction comes on a day with no kill from the Spy team. There's no tactical advantage to not killing as the Spy team right now, simply because they already knew there would be no arrest today.

Jd-, it's unlikely that the spy team voted, but didn't kill due to inactivity. I, at least, would do that in the same message. The only team that self-voted was shinichi'sapprentice and googleearth. It is also possible the spy wanted to divert suspicion away or hasn't identified the informant.

hey, we did not vote because we are against the tie voting. i wanted to vote team 6 but after a discussion with my partner, we did what we think is best.

and yeah, Jd- already said it, but because of this vain strategy you guys initiated, it's day 1 all over again.
