I think my all time fav. is currently MAXIMUM THE HORMONE, but I also like B'z and Asian Kung Fu Generation (never heard of the other one you mentioned). I also love Utada Hikaru (both English and Japanese... she sings like an angel) and Orange Range (High and Mighty Colour, but only Ichirin No Hana which is one of my fav. Bleach OP's and I love playing on Guitar Hero 2) >.<...

I don't think I have ever heard Garnet Crows (I heard they sucked from a friend whose musical taste is basically the same so I never bothered to look them up... but I think I will now). Weren't they the band Maxim posted an article flaming their album without even listening to it?Paperclip wrote: I like a lot of Garnet Crow's stuff. Asian Kung Fu Generation is close as well...
-EDIT-
I actually liked Garnet Crow, and I also did a little search and found the band I was thinking of was Black Crowes, which is the band that my friend said sucked (I looked them up and quite agree with him). So you can add them to my list I guess (Garnet not Black)!

They do some detective conan openings. Based on what music you like, I don't think you'll like them. Ah, and the band that was flamed by Maxim was Black Crowes. (as the saying goes: how can theblack crowes be mad at maxim without reading the WHOLE magazine?)1337_Gaara wrote: I don't think I have ever heard Garnet Crows (I heard they sucked from a friend whose musical taste is basically the same so I never bothered to look them up... but I think I will now). Nope, oddly I listened to then and found the two songs I listened to quite enjoyable... they aren't someone I would listen to over and over again (just from the two random songs I listened to), but I think I will look further into them. I really liked anything that has a nice beat and a nice singer (anything that rocks... preferably head-bang to >.>), but I also like mellow music like Evanescence lol.Paperclip wrote:They do some detective conan openings. I don't like B'z that much... I like Asian Kung Fu Generation (particularly the FMA 4th Opening Rewrite).
I don't mind Garnet Crow. There are one or two songs that I actually liked when I heard them.
But as for fav. singers... I have loads... Utada Hikaru, Mai Kuraki, Tainaka Sachi, and Tanaka Rie all have amazing voices. Another personal fav. band for me is See-Saw. Feel in love after hearing the Gundam SEED ending
I really can't put my finger on that many favorite male Japanese singers (haven't heard too many myself).

Question for the people who don't like B'z:
Have you listened to any of their stuff besides the Conan themes? o_o (though, everlasting was amazing <_<)
