In mafia, people get BO twice in a row. Why not in Espionage too? :P

I just didn't want Raiden to be the spy because I knew I'd feel bad :x

my point being that with the limited amount of roles it's weird for someone to get a role multiple times, even in mafia. BO=/=the same BO role in Mafia does it?
I think it'd be better if we avoid a spy being the same person multiple rounds since it's a single role. Same should go for the Detective. I don't think the informant counts in this case :V.
I'm sure people have been Heiji twice in a row once and others Gin, but yeah, it's not the same as a person being Gin one round and Bourbon the next, it's still a swapped role.

What someone gets in one game is entirely independent of what they get in another game. This was randomised and Raiden was the Spy. It may be unlikely, but his chances of being the Spy were exactly the same as anyone else's.

It's less fun though :V
And it actually threw me off guard, maybe I've watched too much TTT, but there it's impossible to be the Traitor twice in a row.

Woaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!

So Raiden was the Spy again!? Poor Raiden indeed! I actually was on board with whoever mentioned that Raiden was the Spy last time so it felt unlikely he'd get that same draw twice in a row. Just goes to show annnnnything can happen!

I am also glad that Fujiwara was the Detective after all, as that's exactly who I thought it was due to my list and some of the early posts. My list was:

1. Fujiwara
2. Raifuujin
3. Raiden
4. monsi
5. Kamite
6. Jelitto
7. Cider

Cider was arrested, monsi accused me really early on, Jelitto felt like a normal civilian, Raifuujin I wasn't sure about though I was pretty sure the Detective would be a lot more active, but it turned out that both the Spy and Detective were on my list. I ultimately decided after posting that big post that it would be best to vouch for Fujiwara just in case my list was really the Detective after all. That's also why I was hesitant to vote for Raiden, since there were so many players left and it'd be unlikely we'd find the Spy in that time.

This round turned out really well and some really great discussions came out of it, as well as some interesting new ruling ideas. I'll post those ideas in the central topic later today as they come to me.

So, let's clear up some of the stuff that happened here. How did one of Raiden's informants die like that? What happened on Day 2? What were the orders? Who did Fujiwara investigate over the course of the game? Etc etc etc. Really keen to hear what everyone was up to.

And, should everyone be interested, I imagine Round 3 can begin very soon!

In this kind of game, it's actually very important that you can be the "bad guy" infinitely many times in a row. It prevents someone who was on the bad team from using their previous role as a basis to be trusted by everyone the very next time out.

Which is usually exactly what happens in TTT, but with informants around that says nothing about the trust ability of a certain person.
