Naruto Anyone? (Manga Spoilers)

Sakura of the genjutsu world was transported into our world. Pre-War. It's one of the two episodic prequels to the movie, by Kishi himself. Episode 271 and episode 311 will complete your road to ninja experience. Menma left recently, which is why no one realized he became a criminal. Tsunade uses the word "recent" in the initial scene, which supports this.

I remember now. When I first saw that episode I was really confused. I know that it was connected to the movie somehow but I still had no idea what was going on at that time. Still, Tsunade saying the word "recent" is kind of a weak reasoning. You can't just go bad after just a day eveb if he was planning to go bad since the beginning. Besides, it seems that he has done quite a lot of things before Naruto and Sakura arrived and it didn't seem that Menma was gone for a long time during their encounters with their Other-Worldly friends. I still don't understand why his hair was black. Was it Madara's doing or not? :V

Madara's doing, as it becomes yellow again at the end. Also, he does most of the things as Naruto and Sakura arrive, like capturing 2 jinchuuri in the span of two days, which means he was gone a week, maybe a little more. He may also have stayed at the village to gather info and left only a day or two before Naruto and Sakura arrive, and could have captured some before Naruto and Sakura arrived too. It's up to us.

for all the many faults of this series, it's really stuff like the post-Paine, village celebration with Naruto while the anime does a really good job at showing how he went from hated annoyance to beloved hero, that really makes the whole journey worth it. Bravo successful long term character growth!

Stuff like everything involving Ebisu really drives that point home. Ebisu is great in this arc btw.

I fell for their feels. Damn. Some nice flashbacks, which do not weigh the main story down at all, and quite the exciting ending. And the awesomeness of the triple summoning need not be mentioned

So, some nice comedy at the start with the Taka. Nice fights, emotional and plot developments and a bit of a hurried ending. Good stuff.

Honestly, I had heard some backlash against the post-Paine fillers, but I'm enjoying it so far. It has some of the type of fun Shippuden's been lacking.
