Unbelievable shot.
It was a very intense game, worthy for a final.

1. Yes I think the call is wrong
2.Yes it is possible
3. Eh sure, this question is once again a shoulda-coulda-woulda type of deal with alternate dimensions
4. The biggest concern - NO. You can't play just by the numbers, there's too many intangibles and other things statistics don't cover. The Pacers by your same argument could of also stepped up their game and increased their lead as well.

@M-Holmes: Actually, I don't think there is a clear determined favorite, judging from the media, coming into this series, mainly because of how the Heat are underachieving. But who cares about favorites and non-favorites.

I think the Spurs have a couple years left in em after this, I dunno about Swansong. Especially if Tim keeps doing voodoo and reverse his age

Prediction because I am a Spurs fan - Spurs in 6.
If the guy in the farthest right of your sig could beat the Heat, then the greatest PF ever can do the same.

But... imo the Spurs are not a better team than the 2011 Mavericks. They haven't faced a legitimate team yet, while the Mavs cruised through the 2x defending champs and the up and coming Thunder squad in just 9 games.
I would agree that 2011 Mavs are better - but, don't forget...they swept the Memphis Grizzlies. If you don't consider them a legitimate team, after being the favorite to win the series, aight. We've only lost 2 games so far in the playoffs.

Time to see the miami-suckers on espn eat their own words!

I want the Spurs winning the finals too, but it's still early in the series and don't forget that Miami lost the first game against Chicago and Indiana... (yes, yes, I know that the Spurs are better than those two)

that shot going in wasn't lucky? victory is a good thing to be smoking.

You can't say "ah that's luck" to every close shot; luck has to do with every game-winner, but you gotta give credit when clutchness is present

That's true, Miami definitely has the chance to bounce back, but what I got from this game was..

Spurs can play much better 42%, missed like 5 wide open corner 3's from lethal shooters in kawhi and danny green, Duncan went 0-5 against Bosh who he dominates to start. Rust or just a bad game ,I dunno.

Miami played pretty damn well imo, it was a super close game. I think Spurs have a higher ceiling, plus, stealing a home game is always nice.

Sadly was out and missed the whole game, but getting caught up on the highlights. If we're lucky, this'll be a finals to remember. Bosh showed up, Wade showed up, the Spurs showed up, everybody's looking good. I think Game 2 is where the Heat will bring things together and tie it up, so long as they can get all of the Big Three performing the same way.

And yeah, lucky shot. But a damn good one.

I expected the Heat to bite back, but I didn't expect a virtual blowout spearheaded by Mario Chalmers. Big win for Miami.

That was impressive from the Heat. The Spurs scored a decent number of points, but the "big three" were comprehensively shut down and all had awful games.
