Oooh controversial opinions! My favorite!

#1: Most Christians are hypocrites. And I'm not even talking about like Westboro Baptist Church, I'm talking normal, non-psychotic people. I don't really feel like this needs an explanation,  but just in case: they talk up how they don't judge people and how they're like the moral pillar of society and they just want to help people, but they're generally that last ones you'll see to lend a helping hand to people who need it if that person doesn't fit their mold. Along the same lines: most Christians probably don't actually know what the whole bible says and only pay attention to what suits them.

#2: The worst thing you can do in a debate is shut it down because you're afraid people's feelings might get hurt. Nothing ever gets accomplished by avoiding the sensitive and/or controversial topics.

#3: The most annoying type of person in the world is the type who plays devil's advocate just because they feel like the other side doesn't have enough support. Like -- do you really feel that way, or are you just saying that to make things "fair"?

#4: People who are still saying stuff about how much they hate Obama are mostly just spouting hot air because they need attention (and validation from their Republican Facebook friends in the form of "likes") and everyone with half a brain stopped listening as soon as the election ended.

#5: Haibara is the worst character in DC. I feel like she was created just so DC would meet the minimum for a tragic-past tsundere.

#6: There are way too many crime dramas on TV right now.

Hm I'm not sure controversial means.  But I'll try.  (like what would be controversial here, my family is very conservative so everything about me is controversial haha).


1)  Guys always deny that they "don't like girly things".  However:

• However most Shonen manga I read is pretty much Shoujo manga with fight scenes. 
• Most visual novels I read is pretty much Shoujo manga with the genders swapped.

2)  People need to shut up about twilight.  It's not that bad and it's nothing new:

• Twilight is the equivalent of a typical Shoujo manga.  Young girls has been reading mindless shoujo for years, deal. 
• Actually if you switch the gender Twilight is the equivalent of a typical harem manga.  Useless guy with no personality gets attention of mysterious girl and love triangle with sexy athletic brunette.  Seriously guys it's not rocket science.

3) 99% of fictional romance makes me want to stab my eyes out to spare myself the pain of reading/watching anymore.   If it wasn't for the humor, love, and occasional insights on human interaction I would have gave up on the medium long ago.  Misunderstanding, drama, PEOPLE INABILITY TO JUST TALK, and down right unhealthy relationships (abusive, one sided, etc) seems to be popular nowadays.   

4)  Male/Female/Trans have the same type of thoughts and can do whatever job they wish. 

The next time someone goes "omg girls are all gold diggers", "trans people are weird" and "guys are all jerks" I'm going to kick you.  Seriously why is this so hard for people to understand that gender is not the main determining factor in personality and interest?

Ironically I don't have many particularly controversial opinions.

Like I could say "sometimes I find a couple of Nickelback songs semi-enjoyable" but that's not much praise and even as a non-hater (maybe) I'm glad they aren't relevant anymore. :/

Oh obvious one. The original Evangelion series is really overrated. An increasingly common opinion, but still controversial.

I guess I'm rating it between cockroach number 1 and cockroach number 2.  Both are cockroaches.  By saying cockroach number 2 is TEH DEMON SPARKLY COCKROACH1!11 is just making this cockroach more special then it actually is.  As in this literature is so shit, it's not even worth a mention compare to the rest of the shit.  Does that make sense? LOL

1.  The Croods is an AMAZING movie!  Holy fck it's beautiful and I cried like a baby.  Between watching Brave and this I would watch this instead!  

2.  A reason why Rhythm and Hues (the company who did Life of Pie) and Dreamworks is in bankruptcy is because they use their money on useless things.  Like Mercedes Benz vans et etc...  Instead of blaming other countries for stealing your customers learn to use money more efficiently and realistically.  It's like the higher ups are trying to live the animator's version of "Gangsta life style".

3.  I don't think we need to eat so much meat.  Do we really need to eat meat every single meal?  

4.  I think GM foods aren't bad.  The science of it at least.  What policy makers and private companies do is another thing.  Da fck Monsanto.

First Contribution: I just really don't like Batman. When I watched The Dark Knight, I hated it, and I hate it when my dad watches the other movies downstairs or when we are visiting family. He's just not a good superhero.

Second Contribution: I never see why people rave so much about Spirited Away and call it Hayao Miyazaki's best movie. I mean, the animation is beautiful, but it just bored me to death and it left a bitter taste in my mouth. IMHO, I think Howl's Moving Castle is his masterpiece, even if it was originally a novel. And on that note, I REALLY do not like Princess Mononoke.

Third: I do not see the attraction to Jensen Ackles. I really really don't. He reminds me of a duck and his voice creeps me out.

I thought Howl's Moving Castle had no sense of unity, and I couldn't relate to the characters. I felt it didn't really have a proper story to it and it was the first Miyazaki movie that bored me. Soundtrack and animation was beautiful though, but that was it. Spirited Away: beautiful soundtrack, animation, story, and had depth in it. The characters were relatable and the ending was just perfect. Princess Mononoke was...not too great though.


1. Gosho's DC art and story was at its best in the Vermouth arc. Nowadays everyone looks a shade awkwarder then before.
