I spent a lot of today getting supports up and training some lower level units.

And I switched Cordelia over to a Mercenary for now... she's kind of a badass. <3

She's easily the best Generation 1 character if you don't count the utility of the Dancer class or the brokeness of the Avatar.

Poor Frederick is feeling so useless because he's been lowered to the status of partner -- he doesn't actually get to fight any battles on his own and only backs up Cordelia.

Chrom is a Cavalier right now because I needed to change his class and the other option was Archer (which didn't really work for my plan for the next chapter).

....and Henry just showed up. I already love him as much as I thought I would.

Also Lucina might be my best unit right now. She's a level 7 Pegasus Knight right now (after being a Lord up to 20 and a Cavalier up to 20) and she's maxed on everything except Magic and possibly HP.

Does anyone else not really use pegasus knights? I've always felt like they're way too weak =/

They start weak, but become amazing (in pretty much every game).  You have to baby them a bit, but they're worth it.

Also, Lunatic mode is ridiculous.  Early chapters (especially chapter 2... my god) suuuuuuuuuuuck.  My actual fighters are basically just Frederick (god), Avatar, Chrom (rapier only), and Vaike.  Just got to chapter 4 (on a second play through).  Using a female Avatar this time and marrying Chrom for the godly Lucina.

It's pretty funny watching the enemy units.

I've got Lissa (currently Peg. Knight, paired with Vaike) and Sumia (currently Cleric, paired with F!Tactician) on the field, and they would rather attack Lissa than Sumia.

Then again, if I were them and I knew what I do about my units, I'd attack Lissa over Sumia too. I wouldn't even be using Lissa except I want her son to have half-decent beginning stats. V:

Also, I love the joke weapons. Watching Henry beat the crap out of people with a ladle was pretty much the most hilarious thing ever. Except now I've got Lissa beating the crap out of people with a log. That might be funnier.

Awakening is awesome!  I've played the introduction and prologue so far (taking a break to get things done, possibly), and I love it!
When Chrom and the tactician die/nearly die in the intro, I was pretty upset.  How could you start a game off like that?! ;___;
