What's on your mind?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

It's all to do with the way you pronounce the letter "a", I guess. A descending vowel sound does that.

The 'a' in water is the same as the one in 'father' so it's more an 'ah' sound than 'apple' sorta thing. Think German, French, Japanese most other languages versions of a and that's what's in water. I'm not making any sense to you, am I? :x
(Of course, this gets even more confused when you have stuff like 'bath' which I pronounce like the 'apple' way and southerners pronounce it the 'father' way *headdesks*

EDIT: RM'd

I finally got around to watching The Avengers last night. Ok, I honestly think all the hype the movie got was well deserved.

ok, so I wasn't the last person to not see it. Been slowly getting to Iron Man 2 - Captain America since the buildup is important to why the movie was so beloved (and I do love some thought out buildup to storylines, which is often difficult compared to shows and anime and whatever since movies are usually only around 1 1/2 - 3 hours)

I was originally trying to find Incredible Hulk somewhere and then said, who cares about Hulk? It's apparently a new guy in Avengers anyway so who cares? I just have Captain America left and then I can watch it. And then the next Marvel movies I can see in theaters. Because it's become obvious this year...something that should have been obvious. And it's just how much of a difference the theater experience makes. Like, I think the main reason I'm not as crazy about the Dark Knight is because I didn't see it until way later and just on dvd because every movie I saw this year I had more fun with than the Dark Knight despite the Dark Knight clearly being awesome. I enjoyed Rock of Ages more than it, that's how big a difference going to a movie theater is to me (though granted, I largely enjoyed Rock of Ages for how amazingly bad it was).

As long as you don't get an unlucky audience (ie: screamers/cryers/etc), the theatre experience is at least 2.4x better than at home.

*hasn't seen any of them*
Last movie I went to see was Wreck-It Ralph (which was awesome).
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!
