Me too..as a Ran fan, I'm really sad about not involving Ran in the latest plots.. Its not that I don't like how the story revolve around Akai, Sera, Bourbon, Okiya, Amuro but..Her character..... Is she somewhat overshadowed? Gosho isn't showing any importance to her character anymore..that's why some fans are tired of Ran's chara and that is really sad..that..they saying Ran's chara is useless

Don't worry I'm sure she'll play a big role in the Bourbon arc^^
And there are also many Shinran moments in DC movies,so I guess that's why Gosho doesn't want to make many efforts on them.
He's more focusing on the new characters for now.

I agree with you. Ran does not have much involvement because of new characters appearing. I also believe that Ran would be very involved in another bourbon arc. Let's be patient. Shinran moments will arrive soon!

Where's the last part from?! Is it an OVA? I can't seem to recall Shinichi & Ran sitting together that way at all...?
In the comments the autor of the video says it's a fanmade scene, made so Shinichi and Ran appear to be together, extracted from episode 617.
Oh, actually I skimmed the comments section but it seems I didn't notice that... thanks, Aokochan. =) It still answers my question as the scenes are apparently really taken from some episode.
