What's on your mind?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

Pretty sure that's exactly the same response I had when I found out she's from Texas. :P

Ah, okay.  That's not too far from where I'm at.  Few hours, depending on traffic.

Should I be worried when the closed captioning on the TV reads out as "fu fu fu fu fu fu"? I mean, isn't that the Japanese onamonapia for an evil laugh?

I guess my only excuse is that I was 5 when we moved there and 8 when we left Richardson for New Hampshire.....
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

I still have Christmas presents to finish. Must figure out why the upper tension is messed up on my sewing machine. Which means googling it to get the manual because I'm not sure I remember where I PUT the paper version of the manual. And then I need to try again on making a mousepad for my youngest brother. If it still doesn't work I'll make him a coffee-cozy. They seemed to go over well with Archi's dad and brothers.

I am kinda hoping to start a little bit of an online business selling them. Would anyone here possibly be interested? I could post a picture if anyone wants to see what the ones I've made so far look like.....

Hm..... *thinking about buying one or two Conan volumes tomorrow since they're pretty cheap and they have earlier volumes here*

OMM2: I'm dying to use my camera (which I've used hundreds of times before but it's mine now! MOHAHAHA!!!) but I want the first photo to be something really awesome (like Connie) and not something random just because I'm excited since I finally got the camera I wanted since I first saw it :-X

According to my dad, the moral of The Two Towers is "Don't build your evil fortress at the bottom of a dam!" He then launched into an incredibly detailed spiel about proper Evil Fortress construction, including clear-faced helmets for all foot soldiers so that they're hard to impersonate and absolutely no two-metre wide holes that link directly to the main reactor for any reason whatsoever.

I just spent the time looking for any plotho- no wait, that was Toy Story 2, not LotR, ignore me :x

I felt Frodo spent most of the time being fairly useless though, guess I haven't paid much attention to that the last few times I've watched it.

And the AC tried to correct my misspelling of 'spent' to 'ESP' o.O

1) Tower was there before the dam.
2) How are they going to make clear-faced helmets?
3) To be fair, they needed a hole to put their stuff    :P
