Yup. In the US "college" means the same as "university" pretty much.

In the UK, colleges tend to be much less prestigious than Universities, and don't offer the same kind of course as Universities. Colleges tend to do vocational 1 or 2 year courses, whereas universities do BAs and doctorates and the like.

Pretty sure Canada is something similar. We have separate colleges on the university campus where certain classes take place. It also seems to be a sorting mechanism. For instance, the College of Arts and Science and the College of Engineering and such. Collectively, everything is called the "University" but I think each separate building is called a college :x

And then a Sixth Form College (which is sometimes abbreviated to "college") is something different still (in the UK excluding Scotland I think). And Sixth Form Colleges aren't the same as School Sixth Forms... *headdesks*

Archi and I have no overlap in vocal range (of singing).

I think I don't have my iron on quite the right setting for this particular fabric, as running the iron over the piece 4 times (rotating the fabric to make sure I get all of it on my tiny ironing board) didn't actually get rid of the fold lines. ~_~*

Ok, the wind howling outside is starting to give me the creeps.

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone. I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work. I live close so it's a short drive. I w......ould like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore. I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go and I try not to visit there too often. I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm. Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older. One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenaline flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get! And, sometimes I think I am in Vincible but life shows me I am not. People keep telling me I'm in Denial but I'm positive I've never been there before! I have been in Deepsh*t many times; the older I get, the easier it is to get there. I actually kind of enjoy it there. So far, I haven't been in Continent, but my travel agent says I'll be going soon

And from what I can read on SJ (train company) my train isn't cancelled \o/ Though lots of trains during 24-25th have been cancelled

Anyway, this means I'll be online when I get home from school and that I probably won't be online until the 27th (unless I can borrow mom's phone for internet or she decides to go home a day before Connie comes)
