Dr. Whale = Dr. Frankenstein.  Shoulda seen that one coming in the first season, and yet I didn't.  Makes perfect sense, though.

I like Hook and I'm curious if he's going to be a true bad guy or if he's going to have some sort of redemption.

And now we know who that guy is who got the postcard from Storybrooke saying, "The Curse is broken." I can see him visiting the town and adding moooooar drama.

At the end of the last season and the especially at the beginning of this one, I felt like they were setting up Regina for a heel face turn, to be a possibly ally to the "good guys" against Cora, who seems to be the greater evil now. That's fine but I think they did it too quickly. One minute she's (Regina) all mean and totally evil and the next episode she's not using magic, going to Jiminy Cricket for much needed therapy ( ) and even going so far as to call Charming rather than intervening herself when Henry went into her super secret vaults.

I just had wish it weren't so sudden.

I also did not expect the Rumple=crocodile bit. He's also the Beast. It's interesting how many parts he plays within the universe.

In Hook's actual story, his hand was eaten by a croc, which OUaT takes to be Rumpel (Hook calls Rumpel a crocodile a few times in the episode), and last season they made him out to be the Beast from "Beauty and the Beast" when they showed him + Belle getting in a relationship.

It's not ocean front afaik. I thought it was more Hook can sail to different dimensions with his ship on "water". I mean, he would have started at a LAKE.

I don't think it was ever said that he'd be starting at the lake, he was just using the lake to revitalize the bean, and then he'd use it just like his previous one that he used to get to Neverland, in an actual body of water. Unless it was stated somewhere that he has a magic boat, I don't think that's the case.

although, I did remember that when King Charles (I think that's the name :V) burned the hatter's hat in the episode about Ruby, they were at some beach-type location, so that could have been on the ocean's shore.

I am utterly amazed at how much Snow White has ruined Regina's life

indirectly gets her lover killed by not keeping a secret, which makes her become the evil queen, then later on makes her kill her mother with her own hands while thinking that she's going to make her mother love her again

Snow White is literally the reason I stopped watching the show.  Her stupidity just infuriated me too much.  And I don't mean just child Snow White.

She kinda gets a free pass on that, I mean she was like 7.  Whatever, she was a dumb kid.  But grown up Snow White hasn't learned JACK SHIT.  Seriously, if you KNOW you're being framed for murder and the key to your jail cell SOMEHOW winds up under your pillow, MAYBE it's there only so you look more guilty when you escape.  How stupid do you have to be >_>.
