Center America and the Caribbean islands don't have their options. I guess that the people who live there could have chosen "other".
That'd be either North America or South America, depending on whether they're north or south of Panama (nearly entirely NA, though, including the Caribbean). Oceania would be a more likely candidate IMO, but they are usually grouped with Australia, so :x
North America is from México to the North and South America is from Ecuador to the South.
Yeah, I missed Oceania.

Apparently, there are differences about this matter depending on the Wikipedia language.
At least, I can only say that in South America we consider that the continent America is subdivided in 3 subcontinents. This matter probably has a "cultural point of view", even for Wikipedia.

Basically, Central America is a subcontinent of North America, i.e. a part of NA. That's also fairly obvious from the list of the seven continents, where CA is not included:
Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Australia, Antarctica.

(Even if you take some of the other, less common conventions, Central America never becomes a continent. At best, NA and SA may be united to form one continent, America.)
Also, when we're already talking about continents, do you consider the Kuma-Manych Depression or the Caucasus he border of Europe? :P
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

It's pretty simple what I state: one continent called America that is divided in three subcontinents (North, Central and South). At least in South America (where I live) we use that convention for, I assume, geopolitical and cultural reasons. And that's why I wrote that Central America was missing.
Probably in other parts of the world, like you say, it isn't considered like that.

The seven continents I was always taught about are North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and Antarctica. I always thought Central America was part of North America.

Excuse me? :|
I don't even believe in Santa Claus (and if he does exist I'll find out where he really lives and kille him) plus most young people (the people here) doesn't really know about the story about him living.. Wherever it was again :-X
