CONGRATULATIONS, KHOLOUD!

That is utterly amazing. It sucks that it was in pain, but I'm sure your little girl is worth it. I bet she's adorable <3

My best mate got me a first edition of The Light of Asia for my birthday. As in printed in 1879 and actually in quite good condition.

This is why she is my best mate <3

Bumping this thread because I had an awesome day.

So at the MCM I bought a blunt steel replica of Saya's sword from Blood +. It's big and heavy and well-made and steel, so it feels real even if it's not very slicey.

Tonight was the Anime Society's Hallowe'en party, and everyone was coming in costume (not cosplay because it's Hallowe'en :P) so I packed a Saya outfit into my bag and carried the sword in. I carried a four-foot-long steel sword around all day.

The bus driver in the morning did not care.

The security guards on campus did not care.

Not a single lecturer gave a single care about me sitting there with a sword.

Splashed on some fake blood when putting on my costume, walked across campus covered in fake blood and carrying a four-foot-long steel sword. No cares given by anyone anywhere.

Felt pretty awesome carrying a sword all day. Now I know why Saya is such a stone cold badass.
