@Akonyl:
Spoiler:
Well, it's still my opinion about the angels and they were also used in that one with the house that had the rooms full of what people feared, plus they've been referenced outside of that. Whenever the angels appear, I'll always compare them to their other episodes and while in this case, they weren't as good imo as in Blink, they still did their job (not sure how else to word that D:) and added to the already tense atmosphere about Amy and Rory probably dying soon.
And the TARDIS thing was so Moffat-y that digital spy users thought something like this would happen since the first episode :|. Considering some of them also noticed the switched jacket and watch in the angel two-parter, it's not that surprising, but I was kinda "nooooooooooooooo" ' cause I spoilt it for myself even after trying to avoid spoilers so much :xxx

I was a bit sad too.
Spoiler:
I liked Rory and Amy, they had a rocky relationship but it still worked.
I was kinda disappointed that we didn't see Rory's father, it would have brought a lot more to the drama, but one of the last thing we heard him say was 'bring them back safe' or something like that, it would have ended me though.
Also, what's with Moffat and roofs, and people faking suicides... xD

Well, it's back to "wait time" - waiting a while before the new episode.

*heavy sigh*

This "wait time" is starting to wear on me. We get so few episodes at a time and long breaks between ...

*sigh*.

At least the break between episodes is shorter, just until Christmas - 2 1/2 months away.

*heavy sigh*

At least it wasn't bad like the 2009 year where we only get one special every 3 months.

...or the 18 month break between season 22 and season 23 in the classic series. I'm still P.O.ed at Michael Grade about that.

To quote Tom Petty:
The waiting is the hardest part...

I'm quite looking forward to a companion that isn't from 21st century England. Amy's Scottish but he still picked her up in England.

I think you are almost right about Victoria being the only companion from the past - female that is, but you forgot the male companion Jamie McCrimmon from around 1746 (the time of the Battle of Culloden).

However since then there have been no other companions from the past except those two - unless you want to count Jackson Lake (from "The Next Doctor") as a companion.

One more thing -  if you want to include spin-off material like Big Finish Plays, BBC and Virgin books, and comics - a few more characters can be added - The most notable is Charley Pollard (from Edwardian England), Erimem (from ancient Egypt), Thomas Brewster, (Victorian England), and... that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

As far as the new series is concerned...
Spoiler:
...she is possibly the only companion from the past.

The reason I say possibly is because we don't know if she actually is from the past or if she's somebody from another time that got "misplaced" in time to that era (like Captain Jack in WWII - though he wasn't really misplaced).

The information about the new character has been kept secret - we really don't have any answers, yet. We're not even certain of her name. All we know for certain is that it is set in Victorian London, and we know that from pictures taken from the shooting of the episode.

McCrimmon doesn't matter anyway, since he specified "in the new series" :P

Well, he was referencing past companions so I decided to make the answer as complete as I could.

I believe I said Victorian era. I don't believe Jamie is from that era.
