This is a discussion thread to the truly awesome series on CN. An above average show which has a lot of suspense and deep emotions. It'll restart in 2 weeks.
Q.1 Who is the Light's new partner?
Ans. Most probably the Reach.
2.Who hired Lobo and why did he have to "put on a show"?
ANS. Again the Reach.
3. How did Aqualad find out that Black Manta was his father?
How and when did Tula die?
When did Tula join the Team?
Ans. No idea.
4. What happened to Ocean-Master and why was he ousted from the Light?
5. How did Jim Harper learn that he was a clone?
6. Why does the Partner want human abductees?
7.What is a Meta-Gene?
Who were the aliens controlling Neutron?
Why wasn't Impulse's apocalyptic future completely subverted after what he accomplished in the present?
What is the meaning of the phrase "crash the mode" and how is it known to Impulse, the older Neutron, and the aliens?
8.Why did Black Manta want to destroy the Earth-Mars communications satellite?
Why were Miss Martian, Superboy and the Justice League not included in the ruse of Aqualad's defection and Artemis's death?
Why did Artemis leave with Aqualad at the end, and where did they go?
Hope you have an answer for some of these.
Lets get detecting folks.

anyway, was trying to not watch S2 because of the hiatus, but now that it came back on I watched the first 10 episodes. Only to realize they're apparently on hiatus again :V
and lookin at your block of questions, I'm surprised you were confused at all the
Spoiler:
stuff surrounding the meta-gene etc. It was pretty obvious that the meta-gene was the "superpower gene" the moment they said it to me.
meta-gene: It was pretty obvious to me the moment it was mentioned that it was the "superpower gene" in humans which the aliens were trying to isolate.
aliens controlling Neutron: Just the same aliens as were shown in the first episode. They + the reach are two competing species who are attempting to isolate what makes superhumans "super", for either their own uses or to sell to others (hence them being referred to as "competitors"). Neutron was just a normal human who was experimented on so that his meta-gene would go crazy (although he was unstable, resulting in the power he got).
future not changing completely: Unless Neutron was the sole reason that the future was destroyed, there was no way stopping him would save the future anyway
"the mode" / "crashing the mode" / etc: Goes back to the aliens' experiment on Neutron. "The mode" is just alien-speak for the mode in which the experiment is supposed to operate (so, successfully), hence why the aliens say that the mode is crashing when the Neutron experiment goes downhill (or when Impulse cures him, forget which one, either one makes sense though). So, to aliens, the experiment being "in the mode" is good, while the mode crashing is bad. This is why to the good guys, who were being subjugated by one of the groups of aliens, "crash the mode" is slang for doing something good, and something being "mode" is bad.

Dammit!! The ending was so promising. APOKOLIPS!!!!! How can DC cancel such a show???
Anyways Tim and Cassie together!! I must say "YAY". In Geoff's run, he teased it, but no. Scott Lobdell made them sleep together a few hours AFTER Tim had made out with Kiran. (I hate the fact that the non-devil possessed Indian girl cheated on her boyfriend. It makes Indians look bad. Which they aren't, at least in these respects.)
