Naruto had better days, that's for sure. I was never really a fan or anything, but I somehow thought I should read it, if so many people like it, there must be something. I think it is alright, it has a few cool characters and the story seems interesting.
However I couldn't understand all these techniques, I got mixed up by who can do what and why, bloodline or not, I'm still confused. ^^" But that is just one of the things.
I liked the whole manga until the end of the Pain fight, I think.

The fight was EPIC, in scale..... So no reason to dislike it..... (blasts)

Cause naruto is loved by hundreds of millions. In my country comics and manga arent highly regarded but i have met hundreds of naruto fans here. Its just awesome. It's the Truth. You cant just come and say " I am an idiot and dont have the capacity to understand the manga. I dont like it, so it MUST be garbage. All those Billions of fans are wrong."

Anyway, I wouldn't go as far as call it garbage, but it's decent at most. In terms of character/story/action, it doesn't surpass One Piece and Hunter x Hunter. If I were to point out my main annoyance with Naruto, it would be Sasuke. He's basically an rip-off of Kurapika(Naruto's author admitted that, he's a Togashi fanboy) but much more annoying. My favorite arc in Naruto is still the Chuunin Exam. That arc was awesome, simply because Kishimoto introduced so many awesome characters in it(which became pointless and boring later on).

Going to have to agree with Leo on this.  But,  that doesn't mean you don't have to enjoy it.   I like Naruto, but I'll admit it's not a great series.   Same with DC.   I like DC, but my god does it have sooooooooo many flaws to the point it's disgusting.    But what I don't get is the major bashing.   Honestly, it's kind of not cool to be malicious about other peoples likes.

There are no billions of fans. The world has only about 7 billion people, so please don't overestimate this series. It's hard to take someone seriously when they are exaggerating so much.

Dude, you had to reply twice. Insecure much??? Saleswise Naruto is no.2 and thats not bad, Plus it did not become boring later. Naruto makes you feel happy, it isnt like DC, which is an intellectual treat. It's fun. Dont like it?? Fine. You have got bad taste. But dont go out of your way to post it as a flamebait. And its not my beloved manga. Its ONE of my likes. I am currently reading 7 manga series and have read many in the past. I read a lotta comics too.

1)It has GREAT art, quite Complex.
2)The story is nice, it inculcates values in us.
3)The fights are awesome and some lunkheads cant even understand such complex fighting.

In the last year, Kishi's writing has been a bit... rambled. But he made a good return recently and the last 15 chapters have filled many of the plot holes and were generally awesome. (orochimaru's plans, Suigetsu's situation etc.)
Mention some other plot holes that havent been explained willya?? and some have obviously to get an explanation in the coming chapters.
