I just wanted to say about having no two parters. Many of you might know but Muffet said that in this season there shall be no two paters and said that all seven 7 will be single complete episodes. I donno how I feel about it but I hope none of the episodes would be rushed.

OH and WEEPING ANGEL IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D

If that's true, he may be attempting another big story arc type series so they all follow on.
And yeah, I don't like having them being brought back *again*. They had the most impact the first time, but now it's just fading away rapidly...

I feel like the Weeping Angels have less impact each time they appear. I mean, Blink is still one of the best- and most terrifying- episodes ever, but Forest of the Dead/Time of Angels was... well, it wasn't a bad episode, but it lost a lot of subtlety and seemed to go out of its way in many respects to make the Angels less terrifying. Especially giving them that dead guy's voice. I know that was probably meant to be creepy, but all that happened was that the Doctor got them to say "comfy chairs". It's hard to be scared of something that can discuss the merits of comfy chairs.

I don't know I hope weeping angel episode is good. I am more worried that since there would be no two parters some episode might feel rushed. ( of cause regarding episode like rebel flash two parter isn't necessary key formiler for good episode  ::) ) espisally weeping angel episode
Spoiler: info regarding amy and rory
is said to be last episode with amy and rory as doctor's companion and next episode ( christmas special) has doctor's new companion
so I hope it is going to be a memorable one.

Rumours are that Amy and Rory are going to die. I hope not, because they're awesome and also it would utterly crush the Doctor.

Ditto, especially if we end up with Eleven being like Ten during his last few eps... :-\. I mean, Eleven's personality makes him more likely to be all broken up over it for a bit (episode or two?), then just cover it up and act his normal weird self, but I don't know...
Of course, the fact that Amy and Rory keep on refinding the Doctor despite trying to move on with their lives several times already doesn't bode well for them :-X :-\.
Then again, River's still about so she'd make things kinda unpredictable, what with all the timey-wimey stuff involved...

(Also, anyone else heard about Pond Life? :-X \o/)

me too.. but it might be me being sadistic but... I actually wouldn't mind it as long as it was done properly like Adreic's death in 5th doctor era in earthshock. ( I WILL cry if that happened though  :( )

@ stopwatch I'd think this season is last season we will see river because I believe this season will show us the doctor with river in singing towers of dalium. ( which was referenced in first night/last night).  :( sooo this season could be last time we see any of ponds family.  :(

they were entertaining, but I still think they were pretty bad episodes because not only did they make things less subtle, but they went against the very nature of what the angels were supposed to be when they were originally made.

Blink: "They're monsters who exist in this weird quantum state, they're super fast but once you look at them, they turn into stone and take on the form of a statue!"
Time of Angels: "Let's show this angel who's in stone-form slowly turning its head at Amy who has her eyes closed, instead of it actually being not-stone and fast like it's supposed to be!"

Yeah, I always imagined that when they weren't being observed they were some kind of ninja eldritch abomination that was beyond our ken. Not... still angels, just moving reallllllly slowly. What happened to all that stuff where someone blinked and suddenly ANGEL WITH DEMON FACE IN YOUR FACE

That was scary.

The Dinosaur one looks wonderfully ridiculous, the Power of Three one looks interesting, but... The Angels Take Manhattan? Seriously? They've got their work cut out to make that one scary.

Reminded me of Daleks in Manhattan :-X. Though, the Angel-Manhattan episode is s'posed to be the episode where...
Spoiler:
Amy and Rory exit. Because of that, I think the focus might be more on the emotional side than 'scariness', though if Moffat can pull off something as good as Blink because the companions may actually die, that'd be awesome. I'm doubtful...

Why is it always Manhattan anyway? Angels take Paris or Edinburgh or Moscow, that'd be cool. A city that actually has centuries-old statues all over the place that can TURN OUT TO BE ANGELS REALLY. That'd be creepy awesome.
