Re: What video games are you currently playing?
60 hours in and only recently I discovered 2 things about the gameplay.
1. Increasing affinity by having characters giving other characters gifts (the stuff you pick up from random spheres of light on the ground)
2. A secret. I won't say what but a certain sidequest on a lighthouse gets you an unexpected reward. It wasn't available as a sidequest immediately and I don't have much of a clue what prevents all the sidequests from being available at once outside of stuff relevent to other sidequests. Like random stuff will just appear later. I'd assume it's either because of doing enough sidequests in the area or getting further in the story. Or both.

Kinda want to replay Champions of Norrath: Return to Arms, but the game stopped loading properly on my PS2, so I'll keep on with Pokemon Black.

Re: What video games are you currently playing?
Bioshock! After 4 tries, I finally cared about the game enough to get past the first 2 hours. Until now Bioshock has always been a game I've known is great but could never enjoy until now. Granted, I'm so utterly sick of FPSs that I still can't enjoy it as much as I should, but I enjoy it enough to want to keep playing. This has not been true for any other FPS in the past 3 years outside of the Wii Goldeneye game (and even that's only because I love the simple but very effective multiplayer) and Bulletstorm.

Bioshock is an excellent game, one of my favorites. Do yourself a favor though, skip the sequel. Another studio made it and and only made it as a cashcow and to ride the coattails of Bioshock 1's success. The game didn't need a sequel.kkslider5552000 wrote: Bioshock! However, look forward to Bioshock infinite, which is a different setting/universe, but made by the same guys who did Bioshock 1.

Bioware has fallen so far now...I most likely will not be purchasing Dragon Age 3, especially if its going to be Origin only.Toast wrote: I just played over Mass Effect 3 again so I could watch the extended cut ending.
