Re: Fate/Zero Thread
My question is, the liquid thing that generated the fire, was it because of Angra Maniyu; the Grail actually making Kirei´s wish become real or both?

Well, if you have a glass that's more than half full of water, and you shatter the glass, does the water vanish?

Did Kerry and Taiga ever do anything together? How did Taiga even meet Kerry in the first place?GinRei wrote: I love it ending with Kiritsugu's death. I expected as much, but it was a nice touch. There's likely going to be some expansion in this final episode for the BD as well, since it didn't mention Kiritsugu's plan to save the future.
Also, since I said I'd explain it if this episode didn't: the main reason Taiga hung around the Emiya estate was because she had a crush on Kiritsugu. This was not helped by the fact that he saw Shirley in her, and thus treated her very well. Also, Kiritsugu dies under 30 years of age, meaning he was no older than 25 during the war, and thus not "legal" when Ilya was born 8 years prior.Spoiler: Plan to save the future![]()
Also, I read that he died at the age of 34 according to type-moon wikia, http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Kiritsug ... ate.2FZero
Kind of disappointed there wasn't a cool announcement at the end. HF anime would be sick. I'd also welcome any other type-moon franchises being animated by UFOtable/awesome staff+Yuki's music
Berzerker really wasn't developed at all - and I still don't quite understand what his powers are, and why they make sense for the hero that he is. The disguising and taking over noble phantasm things was always kind of confusing imo, and the type-moon wikia isn't exactly fleshed out for the Berzerker page.

Re: Fate/Zero Thread
something else that I found interesting on the type-moon wikia..
Natalia is apparently half succubus o__o, had no idea succubus and incubines existed in the Type-moon universe. The article also said there was "teasing and sexual harassment". Unfortunately, it didn't make the anime cut..haha

Don't believe they ever did anything beyond him doting on her and her being a schoolgirl with a crush. He tutored her in English, though. They met because her grandfather is the head of the yakuza in the area, and Kiritsugu contracted him to take care of his estate.ranger wrote: Did Kerry and Taiga ever do anything together? Yeah, guess I had misremembered. I knew 29 was his age for some important event towards the end of his life, just confused whether it was when he died or when the war ended. Guess it was when the war ended. Also, I read that he died at the age of 34 according to type-moon wikia, http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Kiritsug ... ate.2FZero
They did announce another TypeMoon work. I believe it's called "Girls' Work".Kind of disappointed there wasn't a cool announcement at the end. HF anime would be sick. I'd also welcome any other type-moon franchises being animated by UFOtable/awesome staff+Yuki's music

I'm also kind of disappointed that Kaijura didn't do an adaptation of 'Emiya' or 'Clashing Souls', imagining her working on some of the VN OST would have been sweet

Re: Fate/Zero Thread
lmfao oh wow, this is too awesome.
You're not going to believe this, and I was in shock when I came across this.
One of the coding projects for my CS data structure class based off images n pixels and linked lists and pointers and what not..
And the images used.. are Type-Moon works, hahaha.
One of my TAs is a big Type-Moon fan, theres a bunch of F/SN CGs, some with Arc from Tsukihime, and Shiki from KnK. Thought it was pretty cool and came as a complete shock when I opened up the repository..haha

Spoiler:
although it'd actually be a pretty neat CS project to do things the other way around, so that if given a shuffled tile image (like in_01_shuffled_60) you'd have to recreate the source image. Of course, you wouldn't be able to do that with the first one since it was just reduced to noise

Re: Fate/Zero Thread
doublepostin because I felt like it and because I got around to watching Carnival Phantasm. Though I had to look up who 3 or so of the super minor characters were supposed to be, was pretty entertaining. Grail-kun and Nrvnqsr were the best imo.
Also, I watched the Fate/Prototype OVA, and I have to say as far as character design goes, I really prefer that version of Gilgamesh to the current one. I also liked how he used a bow, a horribly under-represented weapon among the Archer class, it seems :-X
