lmao, is that saber in the 2Heart picture?
Nothing stands out to me. It looks like a terrible season.
I'll continue watching Hyouka and Space bros through the summer.

I'm sure that I would say something similar even if I were male. It's far too obvious that they are catering to a specific crowd. The problem with this is it's the crowd who likes shit anime just because of fanservice or moe.kkslider5552000 wrote:

Other than the Nanoha movie (which isn't even going to come out on DVD/Blu-ray for months in all reality), I don't really feel that interested in watching any of this season right now... so I suppose I'll be watching old and still-airing shows instead. ^^;

Natsuyuki Rendezvous and Sword Art Online are my picks for this season.

Honestly? I don't see much fanservice/moe trash this season. It has an decent amount of different animes, like the ones I mentioned above. Besides, the list here is not really updated. There are a few more animes coming out this summer. And there are 2 shoujo adaptations on the works(and 1 sequel - Chihayafuru) so I'm sure Japan still produces good anime(Yes, for me, shoujo/josei is more interesting than moe, but not as awesome as shounen/seinen or... comedy-focused ecchi xD).Soreiyu wrote:I'm sure that I would say something similar even if I were male. The moe bubble pretty much burst. Well, but "burst" in the way it's usually termed, but it has severely deflated. They over saturated the market with it, and now no one really cares for more than 1 or 2 per season.kkslider5552000 wrote: almost anything is better than the moe series I've seen

To be honest I didn't read the description on any of the shows that used a female only cast on their artwork.leokiko wrote:

I rarely check out a direct sequel without having seen the original. So any of those kinds of shows also are out for me.
If I'm not interested before hand, I usually wait and check out the shows based on the reactions that they get online after they air. Another thing that effects my choices is the op and ed animations/songs.
I had interest in Kingdom, but I'm going to wait a while before checking it out. The mix of 2D and 3D usually really distracts me.
Love triangles frustrate me so Natsuyuki Natsuyuki Rendezvous is going to have to get good reviews before I check it out.
With Campione! I was annoyed with the way they are showing off the female in the poster image. The preview makes the male character look so out of place and useless...

Aren't those pictures chosen by the one that made that summary? It's not really chosen by the company that makes them?

probably, but at the very least I'm guessing the pictures have to come from some sort of promotional material for the shows.Kleene Onigiri wrote: Aren't those pictures chosen by the one that made that summary? It's not really chosen by the company that makes them?

Depends on the show for me, sometimes it's enjoyable like Idolm@ster or K-on, and sometimes it's...moe : V
