@akonyl: while that would make a lot of sense, just where did that person hear all of that? Sorry, but until I have proof, I'm just gonna stick to my theory that Loki was mind-controlled and really couldn't defeat the Avengers.

Also, while we're on the subject of geeking out stories, did you guys hear what happened to Mark Ruffalo in Russia? XD

just where did they hear all of what? It's not like they were saying "well I heard that this is gonna happen in a future movie" or something, they were just going off of what we're told/shown in the Thor/Avengers movies to make a theory.

and whether or not he could beat the Avengers doesn't matter in the theory anyway. Even if he couldn't possibly defeat the Avengers, according to the theory he never really wanted to anyway. The only reason he would have to defeat them would be to take over Earth, but he never originally wanted to take over Earth, just Asgard, so the whole "I want to take over/destroy Earth" thing is just a ruse. All he would need to do is antagonize the Avengers and put on a good enough show that they would think he was seriously trying to take over the Earth, beat him up, and then have Thor take him back as a prisoner to Asgard.

@the mind control thing: it's plausible, but unless there's more to it than Loki saying he can't change his course, I don't see why it has to be that he's mind controlled over just "I'm in too deep with Thanos's plans that if this goes badly I'm done for".

@manga: Well, I think it was after the premiere or something, but when Mark was getting into his car, a girl jumped in with him. He, of course, was probably really flattered (and a little freaked out xD) and was telling her calmly that she needed to get out, and she was like, 'OMG YOU MUST DO THIS FOR ME' and he was like, 'okay' and she was like, 'YAY GIVE THIS PORTRAIT THAT I DREW OF TOM TO HIM AND HAVE HIM AUTOGRAPH IT FOR ME' (or something like that, it had to do with Tom) and he yelled for her to get out. XD

I watched it for the first time two weeks ago, and spent my money again just to re-watch it yesterday.
You can call me whatever you like, but it was worth it.

My opinions (spoilerboxed in case I mentions something spoiler-y):

Spoiler:

Captain America: good ol' captain, always taking the lead, although he seemed a bit subpar compared to the others.

Thor: he didn't really make an impression, he's just like... there, part of the team, not making much of an influence.

Iron Man: always loved this man and his actor.

Hulk: he obviously was the star of the show, and his actor did great at making him the star.

Loki: he did his job as a menacing supervillain. I had nothing more to say.

Thor was deliberately left out a bit because a major point of the movie was his kid brother being the antagonist, so if Thor got too much screentime it risked feeling like Thor 2. I felt like they hit a good balance.

Me alone at the premiere (It doesn`t mean I am forever alone , it just mean I don`t want anyone disturb me while I`m doing rainbow puke most of the time ), Me with friends, Me with my sister, and Me with my girlfriend.

I've not been to see it on my own yet. I've seen it with groups of friends. It probably wouldn't make any difference if I went to see it on my own; I forget that everything else ever exists and just hug my scarf and squee constantly throughout the movie XD

I don't like seeing movies by myself....it's better to have someone to talk to at the end of it...weird as that is. I just get bored when I do that...I have my squee moments and then it's just....bleh.

I normally watch the movie I like alone at its premiere, then later watch it again with my friends and/or GF. The ticket is pretty much cheap here (for a university student  ).

Well, I already prepared my budget for watching Avengers multiple times months before its premiere. But by the time its premiere, most of my friends weren`t ready. Especially the money. Because Avengers premiere at weekend, its ticket price is the highest one.

Oh now I wonder how much does the ticket costs in your region. Normally here in Indonesia, it costs IDR 15.000-25.000 (Mon-Thurs) depends on the theatre size and quality. And IDR 25.000-50.000 at weekend. Oh FYI IDR 9.200 = $US 1.

At the time I watch Avengers premiere, it cost me IDR 50.000 for ticket price (the best theatre here in my town), IDR 28.000 for medium-size sweet popcorn, IDR 25.000 for medium-size salty popcorn, and IDR 12.000 for large-size cola (yes, I eat 2 medium-size popcorn alone ). Total IDR 115.000, it is a record for me >_<
