I kinda suspected I did, but I just confirmed Casshern Sins was that anime I saw once on the Funimation Channel. It seemed decently interesting...whatever was going on.

"live action Casshern movie" why? All live action versions of anime/manga are dumb. The only one that worked was 20th Century Boys, and I think that's because the anime version never happened in the first place.

to be fair, the Casshern live action movie came out before Sins did. Before the live action movie, there was just the series in the 70s and the OVA in the 90s. So, it's a bit different from most other anime movies which are made specifically to cater to the fans who just watched the series.

Honestly I didn't notice. The miracle of watching an episode of Bleach that felt remotely self-contained instead of a goes on for multiple years too long arc was quite refreshing (I don't know what's going on exactly but still an improvement...I think)
