They talk about reality marbles haha.

The VN has a ton of references, I've only caught a few.  The ones that I can remember are Familiar of Zero Louise, Ghost in a Shell, Metal Gear Solid, Lucky Star, Fate/...might be more but I can't recall right now.

I know a bunch are probably flying past my head since anything Fayris says usually has an obscure reference.

HUKE based Homura is so very wrong.  She looks hypnotized.

my impression so far is that they saw the first 3 episodes of Welcome to the NHK, stopped and then decided to make a time travel series.

All of this is the complete opposite of a bad thing.

Okabe with another voice doesn't exist. If I hear the dub even once, it will destroy my image of an excellent show.

stop bein so 'hurr durr subs', Okabe's seiyuu is amazing, but trust me, the english voice actor is quite good as well.

I am not denying he is good. But Okabe's seyiuu has a special take on the character that makes it excepcional. I don't see even the best English VA in the world matching that. I don't mind a change on the other characters though.

Other than her Tuturu, the English Mayuri doesn't seem to capture the same airheaded/easygoing nature of the Japanese Mayuri.  And Daru sounds weird.  Still buying it day -3 (as is usually the case on rightstuf) or day 1 (if Amazon has an amazing price) now that it's confirmed to be BluRay.

"ooooh a time machine..time machine.oooh a time machine"

I'm excited to hear Feyris's voice, Moeka's is going to be boring (I can imagine some Yuki clone VA)

So when does this show become amazing? I mean I'm sure it does and I'm very interested in where it's going but I'm just at episode 4 so I don't know.

I honestly liked it right from the first two episodes, things really start picking up around episode 9-11, which is where a lot of people who say the series gets 'good' for those that were bored by the beginning eps.
