Haibara successfully made a new aptx that shricks kids even further until they become the size of a pin. The DB just thought it was a game and were all actually lab humans.(you know like lab mouse? yeah lab humans. or maybe children?)

Conan was freaked out when he saw kaitou kids's new magic trick - growing a mostache instantly. And even more shocked when kaitou kid told him that if he hits kaitou once again it'll grow on conan as well.

The DB decided to make DC more kid friendly. But it was difficult, because it was filled with murder mysteries, and children killing children with mustaches was frightening to viewers.
