Basically this thread is for fun and to make a "Type List" of the Mafia Players :3

But it's still easier and less de-balancing other characters if you give him glasses. I don't see a problem here game wise. It's just that you don't like it because it's not "canon". But you also argued with other things before, that not everything has to be 100% canon.

just wondering because i'm a clueless freak..
when you want to ally with ppl...
do you just pm them like: "i got this info, what do you have?"
or how do you do it?

People do it differently. And it also kinda depends what role you got and which side you're on of course

I for example usually ask: "Want an alliance?" and don't say any info yet.
If I can investigate or have an ability that can't narrow you down, I sometimes say that I can investigate or do another ability. Tho I don't do that so much anymore since people don't want an alliance with me. Which means I gave them info without getting anything back :x

There are some "types" (this is exaggerated a lot :x)

"Ally me! Or die!" - type:

Xpon
Xpon: "Ally me!"
Player: "Hm... I'm not sure."
Xpon: "Ally me pleaaasseee!~ T_T You can totally trust me!"
Player: :V
*Player dies on Night 1 by Xpon*

Detective Tommy
DT: "Let's make an alliance!"
Player: "Ok!"
DT: "Why did you do this and that/What's your ability/etc.?"
Player: "Can't tell you, sorry D:"
DT: "You don't tell me! You're BO! D:" *DT lynches Player*


Strategic-type:

Schillok
Schillok: "I used a ability on you and came to the result that you're more likely town than BO. I either:
a) stole from you an item that a lot of townspeople have
b) interrogated you and got "not BO"
c) observed you
d) ...
.
.
.
z) used this and that and got to this conclusion
So, want an alliance? Tho I don't trust you completely yet."
Player: "O.o" Uh... sure?"
*Schillok dies on the next phase*
Player: "Noo~ My ally! D:"

Dus: "Let's play a game. Since I'm noctural "
Player: "What? D:"
Dus: "ahem... I mean... let's play a game where you have to answer 3 questions about your role. You have to lie for one, tell the truth and you not answer for another one. We take turns, so everyone get's questions and answers"
Player: "Oh, sure! Sounds good! "

Hmm... just realised now, but the Schillok one is *incredibly* accurate... I really should ally him earlier, but couldn't bring myself to attempt to ally anyone else after we'd secured enough APTXs for D4(?) last game... D:

Only really obvious ones I can come up with atm that haven't already been done... Jd-? I've got an idea for one on Gio too... Conia wrecking it for the BO at the last minute...? Or is that just happened when I'm org? :x Yuriko setting up an ultra large Town alliance most games perhaps...
