Looks like Hoshi, tantei-chan has run into a time crunch and won't be able to play until the 16th. So, I'm opening up the game to one more player if someone wants to join so we can start right away. If not, then the game will begin on the 16th.

OK everyone, as you probably know, I have quite a bit of experience playing Diplomacy, far more than anyone of you (unless you've been playing Diplomacy somewhere else then on this forum). So, the question is now whether I should make full use of it. If the game proceeded normally, I would likely win (probably in an allied victory, but still...). So, my question to you is:
Should I hold back? Basically, should I play with all my knowledge, using all the diplomatic and tactical tricks I know, or should I refrain from it? I wouldn't want to spoil the game just due to being more experienced :x
So, please tell me what you think.
Personally, I think you should play as you normally would. Your experience may prove to be a bonus, or it may prove to be a liability. Will people be more likely to team up with you because you have experience? Or will people be more likely to team up against you because you're the experienced player? That's up for the other players to decide, but I don't think you should hold back. Of course, if the other players have an opinion about this, you all should speak up.
