Haha. I'm like that too. Except that no one in my school knows/likes the show. So I gotta live with having online friends to discuss with.

The only RL DC fan I know probably has Asperger's syndrome, thinks Heiji is evil because he forced Conan to turn into Shinichi with is a painful process, thinks Takagi and Kaito Kid are evil [no, not BO boss evil..just evil], doesn't know who Okiya, Scar Akai, Eisuke and Rena are. The only thing we have in common is that we both like ShinRan. Oh, and she thinks Haibara is evil too because she's trying to steal Shinichi from Ran. :/
Yeah..she hasn't watched much past ep 48.

In high school, a friend told me about fansubs, that's when we started watching ALL, ar at least me, because this year we started college, so he couldn't continue watching Conan(he reached like episode 220 before starting, I reached like episode 520  ).

Now in college some classmates know/recognize DC, but I am the only one who watch it...

and meanwhile in Israel...where it wasn't even aired, there are probably less fans than your fingers. And needless to say that in my college, I'm one of the youngest while many others are over twenty so the only animes we have in common are really old style anime (like Marco (twenty leagues to mother), Nils Holgerson and many other nostalgics)
