Don't really watch any of them, so I have no opinion on the voices, though I want to get into FMA at some point. I just have no time for it ATM.

Besides Tsubasa Chronicles, I'd have to say: Naruto. I used to watch the TV series before I started reading the manga, and while I loved the manga from the beginning, I totally hate the anime. It was neither the dubbing, nor the way they changed the story... I think it was just the way they animated it. The Naruto anime and me... it just didn't work out ::)

Same goes for One Piece, btw (although I didn't think it was as bad as Naruto)...

fair enough, but it's the complete opposite for me. I really never liked Naruto's manga art at all. Especially some of the facial expressions that make the characters look retarded.

Yeah, I already noticed that most people seem to rather like the anime/dislike the manga. Dunno why it's the other way round for me, lol...  ;D
I always thought the animation looked... kinda cheap? Uhm, well, that's not really what I was actually intending to say. Gotta think about it... =P

is this the part where I joke about how most anime are cheap anyway by having half of every episode being just characters opening and closing their mouths by talking about nothing in particular?

Let's see...Ouran High School Host Club...the anime...didn't even wait for the manga. They just came up with their own ending which we KNOW won't happen.

As for the series that has been CHANGED the most..Yu-Gi-Oh wins right on the spot. GX is ENTIRELY different from the original manga. NONE of the seasons even match with the manga. And for DM, only three of the seasons match with the manga. The other ones were just added in there for the heck of it. 5D's..I don't even think it was a MANGA before it was an anime! That's a first!

IMO, the only actually good YGO series was Season 0.

Oh wait, Keroro Gunsou. That's another series that has been changed...I can't say it was for the worse though...actually, the anime might be BETTER. :/

I seriously hate to say this but it's Conan. For most of the series I watch, the anime is more enjoyable and has better art [Law of Ueki, Honey and Clover, Toradora, etc]. But for DC it's the other way around. The animation starting getting worse and worse *twitch* when it succeeded the early hundreds. Some of the openings are crap too [not the songs]...one of the OVAs is even worse. Thank god it doesn't have OOCness.

Other than that..hmm, dunno, I haven't watched a lot of anime yet. CCS was changed a bit in the anime but it was still enjoyable.

I have to agree that the early couple hundred episodes or so were horrendous, in art and the way the storyline got messed around with. I think the artwork's far better now, and at least they aren't screwing up the story, but I don't think the AOs are getting much better.

Couldn´t agree more with this. I loved the early episodes, but it got worse and worse until... well, until GX. (I don´t even want to talk about 5Ds.)

Now we have a new problem: A movie with DM/GX/5D's all in one. Well, it actually does look interesting...(Not to mention Judai has this epic look on his face in the trailer)

I actually don't have a problem with the characters...it's the plots that I don't like...

Probably Samurai X. After the Shiho arc(not Ai lol). It was ruined. Not even following the manga.

Also Detective Conan's first few season. I don't know  BO episodes are important esp in the early hundreds.

Eh? I'd say that the quality of DC is worse now, not during the early 100s. The animation was much more fluid before, but then they started butchering Gosho's style by making it different from the manga [remember the thick lineart during the 400s?]. D: Atleast now that they're following Gosho's current style, it looks slightly better [early 500s], but now.. *twitch*

I'd rather have an art inconsistency than to have a storyline or character completely changed.  IMO, that has more bearing on a series as opposed to the animation.

Totally true. All series go through art changes as animation improves; unfortunately, anime editors have an equal tendancy to change story and art as they do characters. They don't do it so much these days, thank heavens, but remember the scrabbling to get Miyano Akemi back into the storyline properly?

Anime wise, after reading that part in the manga, it kinda threw me how the story was for her.  Getting right down to it, that's pretty much the main "goof up" for the anime, right?  The junk dealing with Akemi early on.
