It's been a woman every other time in the New Who... though I agree that Donna was a nice change on the not-trying-to-snog-the-Doctor thing. Anyway, he's basically spoken for now. Maybe more than one companion?

Also, moar Jack Harkness plz. I say this all the time.

This.

And this. The Eleventh Doctor had a cameo in a Torchwood episode, so I think that this can happen. :D

Nah, don't think so, Matt Smith signed for a few more years I think!
Have you seen the christmas episode?
Spoiler:
It was great, as always, but since it's been a long time since the last episode, I got hyped up! I absolutely loved the little boy! I mean, have you seen his glasses? Brilliant!
Another point: if Amy and Rory wait YEARS between the doctor's apparition, one day they're going to be 80 and the doctor won't even notice, poor him...

d'aww, that was a nice episode. Although,
Spoiler:
maybe I'm just forgetful, but why do they all think he's dead? I thought the whole "Doctor dying" plotline resolved itself with everyone knowing he was alive, and the Doctor situating Amy + Rory in their new house before leaving.

Spoiler:
It wasn't that they knew he was alive, it was that he might not have visited them ever again. It happen between two years since they last met.

*sigh* I know it's supposed to be Christmas-sy, but I just found it too cheesy and predictable... Well, at least you guys all enjoyed it :)

it was a bit yeah, but maybe my opinion was swayed a bit because it's been so long :P

also, I like how in the beginning of the episode, his hair flutters and he's able to "air swim" towards the impact suit even though he's probably hundreds of miles above the Earth's surface where there's basically zero atmosphere :P

Yes, that was weird, and how the hell did he pass through the atmosphere with just a space suit on xD

well to be fair, they specified it was an "impact suit", so it was specially made for planet landings. How that works is a bit more mysterious, but hey :P

Finally got to see it today. ILU, BBCiplayer. I just wish you worked in the US.

Anywho...
Spoiler:
It was kinda weird at times, but the ending did manage to make me cry, so thumbs-up. Oh, Amy and Rory, why are you so awesome?

I thought that it was very similar to the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe for some reason.  ;) It was quite fun to watch though.
