On the other hand, I don't think we need a Favourite Board. There are only three candidates anyway - Forum Games, Off-Topic and General-Discussion - and all the other boards (except perhaps Soapbox and Kaitou Kid) don't stand a chance anyway - after all, who would vote for "Issues & Suggestions", "Media" or "Affiliated Releases" (And how many were actually aware of the last board to begin with? )?

Announcements, Story Discussion, Fansubs & Scanlations, Anime & Manga, Fan Works, not to mention all the child boards... Are you just willfully ignoring all of those because you don't like them or what?

I'm simply not listing off all of them
And I think it's pretty sure that none of these is a competition to the ones I've mentioned.

Story Discussion would stand a chance just because of the people that follow the manga (I'm never in General Discussion, as, I'm sure, is the same for others, but I would probably vote for Story Discussion since I do hang out there some). Also, Fan Works is pretty popular too.

I thought about SD as well, but I figured it would have a serious drawback with our voting system. After all, people would name three boards, and anyone who doesn't follow the manga would never choose SD - after all, they probably have never ventured there. However, people who do follow the manga can still choose GD, even if they prefer SD. For example, I could very well imagine that Chekhov would chose GD as well, even if he (she?) would prefer SD.
And, of course, Fan Works is popular, but I'd guess few people besides the artists would choose it over the three major ones.
So, while the 3rd place might be interesting, 1st and 2nd will, with 90% likeliness, go to two of the three major ones, and I personally believe that #1 will be probably be O-T, or perhaps FG.

So, I'm not wrong, and I'm wondering how I managed to annoy you by giving constructive criticism (which was even encouraged!)

I would hardly say none of the other boards stand a chance. Maybe I'm just playing devil's advocate here or maybe I just like disagreeing with you, since most other people don't, and you're wrong more often than people would assume, but I'd like to at least see what happens and if it turns out to be a predictable result, then count it out for next year.

"I could care less" means exactly the opposite of what you want to say. "I couldn't care less" is the right way to go. That said, We already have a list of 10 awards, so this thread is no longer needed. I'll lock it and create the official MFA thread in a few days.
