Well the only song I've really even noticed is that epic skyrim theme with the people chanting - you know what I'm talking about.  The one when dragons start popping up everywhere, and the title menu song when you startup the game.

btw...this game is so freaking endless.  My map has like, tens of thousands of compass quest arrows.

I'd have the same problem if I didn't make sure that someone quests didn't show, and I haven't even had the time to play all that much. Love that system btw.

Just had my first solo fight against a dragon.  Decided to go clear a mine of its bandit infestation, and was screwing around with conjured swords.  All of a sudden I hear a roar and my screen goes black, some flames appear, and I scamper to get away from the breath.  45min later, I bowed it to death.  That was intense.  Also, it ate a bandit.

that's actually the most annoying part of fighting dragons imo, is finding a fire dragon in the middle of the night. It breathes on you and then when your vision's finally adjusted to the night again the dragon's already moved somewhere else. I havent' fought any ice dragons at night, so I dunno if their breath has quite the same brightness effect on your night vision.

also, if you're fighting a dragon, unless you need the obstacles, try to find a nearby clearing. If you're a melee character (which I'm guessing you are as a redguard), they won't land unless you're in a clearing they can actually land in.

Dual Wield + Archery (archery being the main weapon).  But good to know about the clearing.

My god, is everyone part of the damn Dark Brotherhood?!

And dual wielding is pretty tough, since you can't block.  My dual wielding/ archer/ thief assassin Argonian gets destroyed by trolls one on one.

lol yeah thats what I resort to as well, I use a dragon shout that absorbs someone's life slowly, run around with one hand healing and the otherhand sword.  I also take mini feasts in battles, eating 10 lbs of salmon steaks.

So I'm doing The College quests, and after going through the underground area I made my way back to the main entrance via fast travel.  As soon as it loads I get hit with a frost breath, and I'm just like wtf where could a Dragon be?  There it is, sitting on top of the gates.  So I just say screw him and start firing Bound Bow shots at him.  About 10-15 arrows later it lands in the courtyard, and then 2 shots later it dies.  So now there's a dragon skeleton next to a magical fountain.

though I haven't seen one yet, apparently dragon sightings are incredibly common at the College of Winterhold. Apparently some people have gotten so many dragons that the NPCs don't even react to it anymore, though I have yet to see that for myself.

Though my dragon skeletons don't seem to stay put usually, I've only ever had one skeleton seem to stay where I killed it, one skeleton that walked down a hill in the course of a day or so, and other skeletons which just disappeared entirely. So I dunno what's up with that. :V

edit: Just went through my first Dwemer ruin today, there was an "abomination" in there I had to kill, but as I entered it was just bandits and a few scattered dwemer things and some falmer. The entire thing seemed pretty easy but I figured it was an introductory Dwemer ruin or something so it wouldn't be hard... until I reached the end where the thing I had to kill was. Killed me 2 or 3 times before I decided to just chug potions through its 75% health destroying steam-beam. Don't even know what damage type that counts as, fire?

so according to other people, the newest skyrim 1.2 patch on steam bugs resistances so they don't exist anymore.

Also I found after checking to see if my game had updated to 1.2, which it had, it crashes on shutdown. :|

Unexcusable by Bethesda.  I like how all the fanboys are defending them, or just because they are "conditioned" to Bethesda's horrendous glitches/bugs in their products, they think its okay.

It's not okay! Bethesda is a AAA-title software company that has a very good reputation! This game was in development for like 5-6 years; there's no way they didn't catch these bugs through testing.  It almost seems like they don't even test at all.  It's one thing to find a bug/glitch weeks later after a patch, but for it to be so soon, and for something this large, it's ridiculous.

Like I mentioned before, terrible QA team.  Terrible.  How did they not see the game-breaking PS3 memory bug before they OK'ed the game?  -.-  And it's not like its their first tango with a PS3 memory save issue.  Happened with Fallout and Oblivion as well...

Skyrim is a great game.  I know it's big, and since it's big its going to come with bugs.  But still, we paid 60 dollars for their software.  It's just hard to imagine a company with that much money and reputation in the industry has that bad of a QA team.  If the game is big, expand and put more resources into quality assurance.

That's their number one priority, and I really hope they realize it for their next game.

EDIT: Regarding the bugs I'm mentioning to and how Bethesda didn't catch them, I'm referring to the ones pre-patch.  Bugs happening post-patch is also very disappointing, but I can somewhat understand due to the rush of getting it out, and the possibility of changing code that alters other aspects of the game.  But still, you wouldn't need to make such a heavily modifying patch if they did a better job in QA.
