NTSC is the American version though.  The European version would be PAL.  THUS!!... someone got it really early in America too.

like i said, it was my opinon. i also haven't had the chance to play majora's mask (even though i have wanted to) or oracle of seasons so i don't have any experience from those. oot is my favorite and maybe that's why i like twilight princess so much.

Because they wouldn't just hack their systems to be able to play pirated/imported games anyway?

I haven't pirated it myself, but honestly when you can get 1080p Wii games with Antialiasing by pirating, it makes it a lot more attractive than getting a wii itself. :P

It is the I don't want that much money so leave those games in their own region (even if they are already localized) -looks at Xenoblade in sig- logic :P

No, that logic is for why they won't port it.  It's the kind of logic that only exists because they used the region-lock logic.  The actual reason for region locking, and likely why Europe is getting games while the USA isn't, is to protect the domestic market against importing the same game at a lower price.  With how weak the dollar is, even after shipping fees most electronics would be 10-20% cheaper than buying straight-up domestically in Japan.  Europe is close enough that they can afford to localize the games there and not risk reverse-importing.  This is also why some companies like Namco-Bandai on its Tales releases refuse to allow Japanese voices, just to further discourage any reverse-importing.

I hear the option to get rid of it comes about an hour or two into the game.  So, not available on startup, but it is able to be removed at some point shortly after the beginning.

Haha I find it funny on how many people freaked out on pre-ordering the game to get the bundle edition only for me to go to walmart, for them to still have them.

Played it. Really is fun though the controllers are confusing at first and seems to more straight forward than the other Zelda games.
