I don't get it either. I mean, if you like one team and somebody likes another team, how is that hurtful? They just have a different opinion. I mean, everyone knows that, in canon, the set couples aren't going to change, so what couplings you prefer in the fandom is purely a matter of personal opinion and I honestly don't understand why anyone would find somebody having a different opinion hurtful. It's a bit rude, to be honest, since it kind of implies that it's wrong for somebody to have an alternate opinon.

Yea your right. I hate when people try and act smart about things ruins the fun. but if you guys really want to get all smart about it, technically if people didn't debate others peoples opinions I doubt their would be much facts or decisions being made,

In this case your disliking shouldn't hinder you to choose your favourite pairing for her. You could even possibly vote 1b (for Ai) and 2b (for Conan) at the same time, although 1a/2b is not possible (because in this case Conan had to split up^^)...

oh, I got it, so maybe I should be 2b moderate.
Shin x Ran is not my favorite pairing but I prefer thinking of them.

That's not really because of Ai, but I just can't see Shinichi loving someone else than Ran.

What's not to like? 

She is too cool and cynical. I don't like these kind of characters.
She also has a big "mysterious part" in her and I usually don't like this kind of plot process. this is an easy way to the author to create a big aura to a character but most of the time, when you discover the secrets, well, I'm just disappointed.

That's only my personal feeling.

So I won't say I hate her and I want her to die.
I know she has an important role in the plot. (even if I think Aoyama spoiled it a little recently...)
But I only think she is finally not so interesting and she doesn't correspond to my DC personal trip.
