"Turn those lights back on!" Captain Planet shouted. He was ready to jump into action and save whoever had screamed - provided, of course, it was one of his guys and not a villain.
Half a second later, the heavens opened up and the room was bright again. (Well, actually, Meta Knight just flipped the light back on). There was a hole in the wall far above everyone's heads from someone's gun going off, but nobody seemed hurt. Princess Peach was still screaming at what appeared to be nothing; when asked about it later, she would swear up and down that something had crawled up her dress in the five seconds of pure darkness.
Suddenly, everyone turned at the sound of someone choking and falling to the floor with a loud thud. Upon closer inspection, lyndsi (Kogoro; Gaston) had had something like five dozen eggs shoved down his throat all at once and was now dead.
Someone gasped. Someone else fainted at the sight of the dead body. And the rest stood in shock, waiting to see what would happen next.
