As far as I know, the rules don't allow that (though I'd be all for it if it meant all Italian forces were disbanded).  You can, of course, just let Germany and Italy take you over by simply not resisting.

It seems as if this message failed to reach some people in time, as I'm short on time as well, the deadline will now be tomorrow at the usual time, i.e. 28 hours from now. Again, the links have been updated.
