Open up your eyes
Save yourself from fading away now, don't let it go
Open up your eyes
See what you've become, don't sacrifice
It's truly the heart of everything

Stay with me now I'm facing my last solemn hour
Very soon I'll embrace you on the other side
Hear the crowd in the distance, screaming out my faith
Now their voices are fading, I can feel no more pain

I'll face it 'cause it's the heart of everything

Sanctus Espiritus!
Redeem us from our solemn hour!
Sanctus Espiritus!
Insanity is all around us!
Sanctus Espiritus!
Is this what we deserve, can we break free
From chains of never-ending agony?

Our Solemn Hour - Within Temptation

I just couldn't resist reusing that phrase :P

It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.

Sorry about that Suutashi. I forgot to do that.

Divide et impera! (Divide and rule!)
- Latin Proverb (?)

(For some reason, that is often cited as "Divide and conquer!". However, imperare does not mean "(to) conquer", but "(to) rule" (or "(to) order"). "(To) conquer" would be either expugnare or capere. So, "Divide and conquer!" is "Divide et expugna!".
(Also not that Latin divide isn't spoken like English "divide" at all :P)

To deprive a man of his natural liberty and to deny to him the ordinary amenities of life is worse then starving the body; it is starvation of the soul, the dweller in the body.

So far and away, see the bird as it flies by
Gliding through the shadows of the clouds up in the sky
I've laid my memories and dreams upon those wings
Leave them now and see what tomorrow brings

In your dearest memories, do you remember loving me?
Was it fate that brought us close and now leaves me behind?
