What? Misty was my favorite character and I loved brother-sister bonding so I liked May but Dawn just.... I can't relate to her. I don't like her! XD

I was never going to like Dawn or May because I just don't like Contests. I tried them, I hated them, I ignore them forever. And their characters (though this is more true for Dawn than May) are built around Contests. So I was doomed to never connect from the start.

Misty, on the other hand, later own a Gyarados and teaches it Flamethrower. My kinda girl.
