Stopwatch: We were poisoning her on Day 1, after figuring it out you CE'd her and knowing she wasn't Vermouth, but we misunderstood each other and the APTX wasn't sent :x so it was done on Day 2. (Plus, I investigated she disguised as Matsumoto on Night 2)
Parkur: It was pretty obvious you had CE, but we still remained cautious about your role. We Detected Eri on Night 2, and got you in our Spy List of Night 3.

This is a test run since ppl were saying how town lied and got themselves lynch, there fore, towns in this game told the truth to prove that telling the truth is even worse LOL

Amazing round, everyone! Was fun playing on the forums this once. There was a lot of excitement and madness, which is what I like most! There were a lot of really challenging moments and great strategies from both sides. Stoppy not giving up despite having to announce her role on Day 1 was one of the best moments I can recall in mafia. Most people would've just given up, but she stick with it and just about united the entire town and exposed the rest of the Borg. She also had a really thorough strategy that would've caused a lot of trouble for us--it will undoubtedly be of great use if she is given the chance to use it in another round.

The Borg this time were a great bunch, especially the Conman. He helped keep everything in order and even heard me out on my mental ideas. Everyone was a pleasure to work with (especially Aly, Kirbers, and Blue, who were on IRC often). We were forced to have a lot of really challenging thinktank sessions to figure out how to best proceed in this round thanks to formidable play in the town. Though the end result may seem to suggest otherwise, this was actually just one of those games that could have gone either way at a lot of points. We lucked up a lot and were able, through luck alone in many cases, to just barely get by. You guys in the town did great, and I believe it will take a lot more than luck next time for me to be on the winning side.

Everyone, both town and Borg, played really well and made this first forum game of mafia one of the best I've been involved in of any sort, forums or not. Thanks for having me and I hope you will have me for another round sooooonnnnnnnn~!

Because this is going to be asked, here's how The Big Play went down:

The game was really decided back on Day 2. At the time, we were planning to poison Parkur as Eri, DT as Ran, and Stopwatch as Kid. After Schillok spread the word that Kleene had come back as Borg on the interrogation without us having slandered her, we were going to let everyone lynch Kleene and hopefully get the others while we were at it. Theeeennnn... word came down that Kleene was about to be identified by Ayumi and the D-Boys, and that's why no one should vote for her. This presented a number of problems, namely that this would have united Kleene, Stopwatch, and the D-Boys at the absolute very least. It would only be a matter of time before they roped in more townies and eventually narrowed the rest of us down, so we couldn't have that. As such, we decided to let Parkur live and poisoned Kleene instead.

The night before, Conia had joked how amazing it would be if Stopwatch (as Matsumoto, with no arrest penalty) would arrest someone that we blamed for a crime, and then I noted how great it would be if we could kill Stopwatch that very same phase so that the arrest would take place and the one arrested would have no idea what just happened and no defense to work with. After the Kleene business began, I decided to go ahead and try my luck. Obviously I was going to be exposed through this plan, but I decided to go all out.

First, I sent Stopwatch a PM describing the dire straits "we" (the town) had found ourselves in. I told her, in more than a few words, the strategy I saw us being able to utilize to pull this out and revealed with confidence that Cheesus had been caught killing Kain. She agreed to send in the arrest, and of course Cheesus (Kobayashi) hadn't actually killed her--we had just blamed him for it. (At this point, unbeknownst to us, Stopwatch was, prior to my PM, planning to arrest Kirby for killing Breva on night one... and correctly so. She mentioned to me that she had an arrest she was going to send in, but I had no idea it was for one of us, so it was good we acted when we did)

Then, I went on something Stopwatch had said--she said she had contacted eight or so people who all denied being Yumi (as Stopwatch was trying to have herself arrested at this time). Kaito Lady had been somewhat inactive for the first part of the game, so we pieced that together with what we knew about the other roles and figured that she was almost definitely Yumi. I then contacted her and asked her to ally. I said we had a plan to finally turn the tide that day and that we had to act carefully. I nonchalantly mentioned that we needed someone with a badge, and when she confirmed she had one, I said I could only trust the one police officer that Vermouth couldn't disguise as, and then KL confirmed she was Yumi.

At this point, I told KL the "lead" that I had prepared to mention: Moho (a fellow Borg member) was likely the killer of Breva on Night 1 and that we needed to get him behind bars. Even if it didn't work, I said, we needed to try our best given that our numbers were already dwindling. I made sure she didn't try to arrest Stopwatch by saying that we could just arrest Stopwatch the next night to protect her, and that it was more important that day phase to catch a Borg than to put a townie in jail and give us less votes on the lynch. Most importantly, apart from making sure this killed Stopwatch, we would have Yumi without her ability to arrest until Night 4. It was perfect timing, because we were already planning to end the game on Day 3 and this way, there would be no cop left to stop us. Now, as for why I told her Moho (a fellow Borg member) had killed Breva, it was just a ploy. Basically, I figured that, should I be caught and KL told someone that I had given her that instruction, they would assume Moho was probably town and that I was just trying to frame him. This way, if I were caught, we'd at least have a potential start if nothing else.

On the next day phase: KL's arrest failed and she was suspended. Stopwatch was poisoned successfully, DT was poisoned successfully, and Kleene was poisoned successfully. Finally, Cheesus was arrested for the blamed kill, and there was nothing anyone could do: the person that arrested him was dead. Parkur as Eri was still around, but we had just given him the bottle (if I recall correctly) and were still tricking him so that no lawsuit would be brought about to get Cheesus out even if Parkur were willing to do that. As a result, the pending mega-alliance in the town was narrowly stopped and just in time, but it could have gone either way.

Other random notes:

As Conia mentioned, we gained the majority on Day 3 by poisoning three more people (Parkur, Kaito Lady, and Meme) and then lynched the last person we believed could possibly be a cop, and they were (Miiko). This eliminated all of the remaining threats in one go.

There was an Akemi in the game contrary to popular belief, and it was Blue. He was the one who killed Kain and became injured as a result.

The bottle helped us a lot, because when Parkur tried to give it to Holmes (Kazuha) thinking it wouldn't harm anyone, no one expected Holmes to be poisoned at the end of that phase. Since Holmes was no longer in the game, the bottle reverted to us and we gave it to Aly next (yes, to another Borg). We knew we didn't need her to vote that day, so we wanted to hang onto the bottle. We then gave it to Blue since he was injured and so we could hang onto it without penalty. That way, we could decide who would have it for the all-important deciding phase.

No APTX were wasted in this, but we always wanted a fourth one.

Only one person was really poisoned via actual ability results, and that was DT due to Spy.

...and you really are overestimating my plan, Jd-, the game has to be big enough to risk it and various other factors that won't often be fufilled, plus there would be a big problem in trying to get everyone to agree to it, even if there is a fully proven Townie...
