Well the way the avatar and the firelord worked was that Roku told aang the story in spirit world. We don't necessarily need the firelord side of it like Zuko reading that secret history. I just want Spirit Aang to tell the story. Is that so much to ask? Also.... how would they know that? Right now its all rumor mill. I don't think anything is 100% confirmed. So we shall see...Shuusgirl wrote:I could totally be wrong, but I think that all the old characters are dead. I completely agree. I am rather curious about what happened with a lot of the characters after the series ended.kyuuketsuki wrote: Honestly, I'd like an episode like the Firelord and the Avatar. That was a fantastic episode, and would be able to tie up a lot of the loose ends of the Last Airbender.
I hope I'll actually be able to watch it. Didn't realise it was a spinoff series and not a movie.

I am hoping Aang to take over the role of Avatar rokou, in this next series... you know give her some help every now and then through visions... I wish there was a season (series) dedicated to the time period right after Aang defeated the Firelord. The main idea is that Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph and Zuko are all fighting the Fire Nation rebellions (that want the Fire Nation to rule over all again). And while all this is going on, Aang searches for a possible Air Bender left. Katara and Sokka try to make the Southern Water tribe prosper. Toph teachers metal bending. And Zuko rebuilds the Fire Nation, while also searching for his mother. That's actually the main thing I want to see right now...

that sounds like every unnecessary extra season to every awesome series with a plot everDetective Tommy wrote: I wish there was a season (series) dedicated to the time period right after Aang defeated the Firelord. with the exception of that last point (which was originally supposed to happen anyway), Avatar had a pretty definitive and almost flawless ending. I mean, that would be fun and it makes me wish OVAs or something similar was more of a thing for american cartoons but yeah, the story doesn't need much of a continuation.

So I found this article about a new Avatar comic coming out next year: http://www.animationinsider.net/article ... cleID=2881
And this bit killed me inside: "the television premiere of Legend of Korra, now scheduled for 2013."
The series got pushed back AGAIN. I'm happy that it will be something to look forward to, but my inner child is throwing a tantrum about waiting this long for the new series.

I just hope the series hasn't been pushed back specifically because they want to get the comic out first :IProcyon wrote: So I found this article about a new Avatar comic coming out next year: http://www.animationinsider.net/article ... cleID=2881

NOT. COOL. I am officially unhappy with this slow release. I need my Avatar.Akonyl wrote:I just hope the series hasn't been pushed back specifically because they want to get the comic out first :IProcyon wrote: So I found this article about a new Avatar comic coming out next year: http://www.animationinsider.net/article ... cleID=2881

I hope they don't ruin the entire series with this...
From what I've heard about it t'll be WAY too easy to. But as long as they don't recycle characters like our dear Gosho-sensei then I think we'll be fine! XD

yeah, though from what I've heard (rumors admittedly), it's been said that there will be a love triangle. It's not specified who's in the love triangle, but considering the characters it seems likely.IHKF wrote:Let's hope THIS doesn't happen again:Akonyl wrote: some korra stuffs:

I think I'd prefer if they managed to leave her out of it and they got some fourth female member to be part 3 of the triangle, like some sort of non-bender (similar to Sokka), considering the brothers she's with are a fire and an earthbender and there aren't a whole lotta airbenders to go around.

I hope so, too..... I can't handle love triangles where one person ends up with NO-ONE!
