If I had to say what it reminds me off. He has a face similar to Shaoran from CCS or TRC but the drawing style isn't similar at all.
Perhaps I'll try looking for it now that I know it's a samurai manga

The only samurai manga I know is Samurai Deeper Kyo... not sure if that's the right one though.
