Is the answer cookies? The first thing that popped into my head that relates to milk is cookies... and there are people who have parties and eat cookies.  Reminds me of tea parties. And I heard that when people drink tea from tea cups, they stink out their pinkies. Although why would people be embarrassed to have cookies in public...? And what does salt have to do with cookies... It's probably wrong, but just a guess. :P

Sounds a bit like a pacifier to me.
going with that, if you use the "salty and pinky" clue to mean skin, you could just take the first and third lines to relate to breastfeeding which fits pretty well

though then that makes the whole "put this thing in your mouth party" idea a bit odd. :V
