Obtaining his powers through Rukia again was kind of refreshing. The chapter was quite good.

while this current arc sucks major poop, this is why I stuck with this series - to see the old characters that ACTUALLY matter (aka not Ichigo/Chad/Orihime/other pointless humans like Karin and Yuzu) and how they progressed/changed during the time gap.

Aizen, Gin, and Tousen's captain positions! It should be interesting to see who fills in those wholes (Renji captain? Ikkaku? Hisagi and Kira achieving Bankais? Ulquiorra comes back as main char of the show?

Kira would probably be next captain I doubt Ikkaku would leave Kenpachi's squad
