Fun fact that may or may not have anything to do with DC: The French Kings (Like Louis XIV, XV, XVI, etc) had the last name of Bourbon. Unfortunately, I can't think of any French characters...

In regards to the whole Gundam thing, that's what makes me think that Scar Akai is Bourbon. Because you think Akai is bad, and then he's good, and then he's bad. (But Akai's not Scar Akai). Did that make sense to anyone other than me?
