Re: Where we got our usernames
My username, huh...
Well, until a couple months ago I used to mainly go by as AngelRoy (Roy as in the character from Fire Emblem, Angel from a personal and much longer story, thus AngelRoy), but then I became a member of a group created by two/three people, and since we more or less all get names I became Kelsey.
Therefore I'm Key-chan and will be using this name during the many years to come...XDDD

Re: Where we got our usernames
"Kari" because that's my name on the net since 2007.
I add prefixes like '-sama' or '-[nee]chan' because I'm such an otaku.

Well, mine was originally just a combination of Kaito and Shinichi's names...
I do like KaiShin, but I also like ShinRan AND ConAi... (Watch me get killed by the KaiShin army!!

Re: Where we got our usernames
CoolKid3, huh? I think we are all aware of the Cool Guy reference to Kudo even if he's in Conan-form but I'm a Kid fan so I used Kid instead... 3 used to be my favorite #...
My other usernames are J.CoolKid1412, KID=1412 and GIN x KID=1412... The last two are self-explanatory... J.CoolKid1412 may sound obscene to a fellow Filipino (because of J.Cool) but I used J instead of using Jejabordz... It's too long and lessens the cool effect... On the last username however, I added GIN so that I can use him as my avatar as an alternate to KID...
Question here: Is it possible to change username here? Cause in A4, they open a thread every 2 months for username change... Thanks in advance...

Re: Where we got our usernames
Several years ago, When i'd just gotten into manga and loved it so much that I was telling everybody about it, I was telling my friend that I was a manga lover, but in a stupid accent... I made it my YT username at the time and got kinda popular for a Kagura AMV, so I started using it everywhere else... It didn't really get stuck as me until I joined Sueric's fanfic forums, and Suerox starting referring to me as "manga-chan"

Re: Where we got our usernames
Back in the days where i still read books (lol i barely do anymore xD), I read books mainly by 'Anthony Horowtiz'
and in one of his short horror stories, there was a hitchhiker with the name 'Rellik', and the main character was like freaking out at the name and he like jumped out of the car - but that doesn't matter xD
and i was like, omg that is just a freaking clever name so im having it as my nick
(yes i was small back then, small things like this amused me
)
i dont think any of you would need me to explain why the name was freaking the main character out xD
Though i tend to call myself 'Gin' nowadays as my nick (since it is how you pronounce my first name in chinese, as 'Gin', not 'Jin') - its short and DC related xD

What's in a name?
Some of us have really straightforward user names, that can either be connected to DC or are self-explanatory (nomemory;D) but what about the rest of us? What made you choose yours?
Mine is actually my RL nickname as well, and I've gone by it for many years. Its origins are shrouded in mystery but here's the officially endorsed and most common explanation.
