End of Night 4

A beautiful voice can be heard by the men and women on the board the ship. Their eyes on the rocks, three beautiful Sirens sit on the rock, the prettiest of faces being the one in the middle. Though each man and woman could see what they wanted to see in the faces. Some saw faces of the dead, both new and old, other saw faces of the person they wanted to meet most. The song coming off the ship was most alluring, "Come and see what can be heard, even if a bit absurd, come take my hand and join us too, learn the things you never knew, hear us call, all great and small, come join us on the isle of dreams, where nothing is as it really seems..."

Dimitri saw this immediately, he cursed under his breath and pulled out ear plugs "Cover ya ears everyone!" He called out to his crew helping Penelope with her own, she had two daggers aimed for the captain if he didn't release her or stop the sounds. She saw she was about to plunge a dagger into his heart and apologized. "Now help me shut up the ears of everyone on dis here ship!" She did, she took her knife and was happily about to cut off some ears.

"Penelope!" Dimitri called knowing his first mate too well, "Don't off ze ears unless ye haz too." He warned, taking her knife away, it was just one of the ones she had. "No cutting off ears. Got it."

"Yeah, yeah..." She rolled her eyes, and whipped people as she handed them the ear plugs. "If ye put these in, you won't hear de evil song. So listen to me and listen good, you got it." A woman nodded, as did another one of the men. They all slipped the plugs into their ears, but unfortunately they heard the splash. Another person had gone overboard as the boat sailed away from the jumper and the face of the soon to be deceased person.

They swam as fast as they could to the Siren's rock. The middle, the youngest and prettiest of the sisters called to the jumper, pofa (Satou) Her sweet voice whispering, "We can be whatever your heart desires. We can be male or female."

The one on the right joined in, cutting off the younger sister, slicing off a piece of her blonde hair, as it fell onto the new comer. A darker voice, but still pleasant from the red head. "We can be your hopes and dreams and fantasies, anything you ever want, you ever dreamed we can be." She smiled alluringly, "We can give you the world...We just need to feast. Will you come join our feast...Help us stay like we are, beautiful."

Again the blonde started to speak, but was slapped by the dark haired one. "You know better than to speak to our dinner." This voice sounded male, and she grabbed the victims arm, plucked it off and shoved it in the blonde's mouth, blood on her lips from the person dying as she did the same to the red head. For herself, she broke off the person's foot. Swallowed it whole, the did the same with the other. Then broke off the right leg up to the knee cap. Again fed the blonde, golden hair growing from where it was cut off. The left side for the red headed sister. She herself took a bite into the victim who was still very much alive and screamed, as the dark haired sirens old looking body, started becoming young again. Giving her sister's the last two bites and placing the head in a jar. "For our collection. Now sing!" She forced the youngest sister to start her song to lure their dinner, as another boat approached.

Back on the ship, Dimitri counted heads to make sure no one else had gone missing, he announced the person the mermaids seized and told him of that person's horrid death. "There's nothing can be done." He sighed gently. He actually felt bad for the one caught by the mermaids, hearing horrible things of people.

Penelope lowered the flag for today. "We kill tomorrow, does that matter?"

"I have a soft heart tonight. Maybe it be that Siren of the seas evil heart...but it don't really matter...We lost another, so someone be payin' tomorrow."

Night 1
I spent the night checking out the area. I'm still not sure why the chief thinks something will happen here tonight, but I trust his instincts. It was almost deserted, but I traded abilities with a cooperative girl named Lynz.

Night 2
Well, after Shiratori-san's and that child's death...people seem more willing to talk to me. I traded abilities with a firebird and a blue phantom. I've checked them out as much as my information and abilities allow.

Night 3
Early this morning, I told a hopeless sort of woman and and an x(pon)man my name. We all know each other's names now, but we accidentally killed an FBI agent and I'm still nervous. I wasn't poisoned, and I found out some things about them on my own, so hopefully they're really trustworthy.

The suspect Schillok told me his name as well. I'll question him further tonight.

Night 4
Things are going from bad to worse. I know Dus was an investigator, but he's simply disappeared. I'm going to try arresting the firebird for killing him tonight, and someone else will check out Schillok, so we should know something one way or another after tonight...
