Yeah, you should follow what Leokiko says, it's for your own good. Not that I've read the manga, it's just that I hated the anime near the end.

Totally agree!! It was so good for me up to volume 7 and then it just goes downhill and the problem is not with the male characters, it was actually the main heroine that I hate.

But anyway, totally agree with the Skip Beat! and Ouran choice. Both are amazingly drawn and had awesome plot lines.

@kate_49: If you still want to know the plot line of VK, there's another way. Just go to wikipedia and type in list of chapters and they have summary for each volume.

I would suggest Suzuka/G.E Good Ending, but they are shonen romance, so don't expect pure girls and bishounens.
For shoujo, my favorites are: Skip Beat/Ouran/Hana Yori Dango(my fav shoujo of all time)/Karekano.

Can you explain what's good about Koukou Debut? I want to read it, but never got an opinion from everyone so...  :-\

The summary for High School Debut may sound lame but it's a really good manga since the main heroine, Haruna, is extremely awesome. She is athletic and outspoken. She's not the type of girls that guys would immediately fall in love with since she's not exactly gorgeous or anything, but her personality is great. That's why reading the manga from her perspective is so entertaining. I think the strongest element about this series is the characters. They all have depths and they are more than just stereotypes. And the manga itself is funny. You'll laugh at the comments Haruna makes or the interactions between Haruna and Yoh (the main guy). Anyway, I strongly recommend this series.
