The best and longest one there is Gintama.

I didn't like D-Gray man's anime(love the manga tho), Ah my Goddess is very good, but it strays too much from the manga, I would give an 7/10. Fate/Stay Knight and Shaman King I would give an 8/10.

I say start with Gintama(crazy action/comedy), then Ah My Goddess(more light-hearted fun). Then choose between the rest..... 3 action animes.

Only going to comment on the two I've seen.  D.Gray-Man is great.  Definitely watch it.  If not now, soon.  As for Fate/Stay Night... don't bother.  The anime is bland at best, outside of a single episode of awesomeness.  Go get the game/Visual Novel and experience true superiority.

The only one I'm familiar with out of those is Chobits, for which I recomend the manga more than the anime.

and dragon crisis is okay, the ending is pretty meh though

@Parker: I love your Angel Beats! signature and I, too, love P.A. Works. CANAAN, Angel Beats, and Hanasaku Iroha are all amazing. I haven't watched True Tears, but I've heard that it's really good as well.
