Honestly, I'm not really the audience for something like this, but should you do it, I will follow your adventures. I like to see peeps doing little projects like this (as anyone that knows me will tell you--I'm all about side projects and such), so count me in for whatever reason!

Might be happening - change of plans, no Layton. POKEMONZ.  Nuzlocke-style.

Further details shall emerge.

I've always wondered how people do that. How do you film what's going on in your computer and record your voice during it?

About watching a Let's Play, I can watch something like this only if the person who plays also tries to amuse me during the game. A bit hard though cause a lot of times that person isn't funny but still talking all the time.
The only Let's Play I've ever tolerated was Lanipator's Amnesia.

Pretty much :)

And Yes, I agree with you Kor, that a LP really is only interesting if the host himself/herself is interesting.  That's probably my main goal.  And, if you've seen how I act on the forums, you could say I could get a few laughs here and there, no promises if my behavior on the forums reflect who I am in real life though ;)

I actually just found out about that comic a little while ago, and it was like the funniest/and most dramatic thing ever.  Being a LOST fan I found it absolutely hilarious and thought, eh, I could do a LP of that.

EDIT: I think I'm hyping funny. I was just listening to myself for a mock, just practicing.

I've only watched two "Let's Play", and one wasn't even classified as that.  One is from Team4Star, for both Left4Dead2 and Halo Reach.  This one's great because it's four guys being humorous jackasses to each other.  The other was TotalBiscuit's WoW and DCUO Beta videos.  Those were good just because he's British and played up on those stereotypes for the in-game interaction, while also jabbing at how ridiculous the dialogue was.

I was gonna request to join the recording via skype for a bit to see how much I could add and/or subtract from it but my headphones broke a while ago (or at least I have to hold the wires up in a bizarre and annoying way in order to sometimes hear from the left headphone...thing). I need to get a new one. A LESS QUIET ONE. >:(

anyway this will likely be fun

btw: the only LPers I've found to be consistently entertaining are DeceasedCrab, Nintendocaprisun and arguably SirRonLionheart.

Ooh that would be fun, except I didn't know you could record with Skype :O And darn, get a new headset!  Regarding recording audio, I was just planning on using Audacity.

He narrated it like a B-rate comedy/horror/crime noir movie, occasionally breaking narration to make fun of idiots who treat WoW as if it were their lifeline (using quotes from the forums that got Blizzard feedback (since another site instantly tracks those posts/threads)), and saying how things could easily be better (since it was beta, and he knew Blizzard also watched the videos).
