Hydok is Hydok. And she may or may not be related to Cadok and Gadok. But that's just speculation.
So Haibara's "radar" goes off at odd times, right? And she thinks that it is linked to the Black Org, right?
But all of the times it's gone off, there have been FBI (or suspected FBI) members there...
So, it's an FBI radar.

I also had a name of Raphael the Raven and Geminiman on different forums. If you don't know where those names come from then I feel sorry you.

Callid...

Well, once I had to create a username and I was playing the table game "Diplomacy" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomacy_(game)) at that time with my friends (as a mail game) and was about to win (and I had Latin at school).
So I searched a Latin dictionary for the word "diplomatisch" (German = diplomatic). The dictionary listed only one word: "callidus -a -um". So I used this word after taking the -us (to hide its Latin origin), creating the short, pregnant "Callid".

Later I looked up "callidus" for other meanings of the word. I found out that it also ment smart, but if I were asked to translate it in English, I would take "cunning", although the Latin word is meant positive (so it's the exact opposite to "sly").

Since I really am smart (my IQ is between 130 and 155, depending on measurement, but most likely it's 140-145), I chose to use it as my nickname in all cases (one of its benefits is that it is never used already). Sometime I add a 13 (The day of my birth as well as my favourite number) for different reasons, for example a minimum nickname-length. I'm thinking about a new nickname, perhaps based on my motto (below my nickname), though.
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

I'm fairly interested in language structure, origins, and learning.  However, when you tell someone you have a good grasp on a few languages, they'll try getting you to read a whole block of text or ask "what's * in *insert language here*?"  I also work with language better in writing than verbalizing or listening.  Thus I'm "not so fluent" with languages, even though I learn and know a lot about them.

Yeah.  Not all that interesting, really. :/

I have this picture of Conan that I love. It's from Movie 4, Captured in Her Eyes, right when Conan tells Ran...
Spoiler:
that he's protecting her because he loves her.
I have the picture and then I realized, Conan/Shinichi's smirk is so sexy and cool!! So that just seemed to fit as a username on a DC forum  :) And thus, sexysmirk was born.

Mine? Got it from my little niece. She couldn't pronounce the word "ate" (it's like sister in english :)) when she calls me, so she makes it a-sheen instead..( should be ate sheen). get it? Then everybody started calling me a-sheen, so I've been using this as username, even on other sites.  ;D

Lost count as to how many times I've recounted this story.

UM+SF (stood for "Ultimate Mario + Sonic Fan" and was used on the first forum I joined: Sonic Zone Forums) ==>
UMandSF (when login problems led me to get a new name (although previously used UM+SF II) ==>
Umandsf (once the ultimate fan thing no longer applied)

Hmm, this may be the shortest explanation I've put up.

Ehem.

Although I'd tell you where I got my username, you wouldn't understand it.. perhaps.
I have my favorite lead vocals from a band, he is Brendon Urie. If you like Panic! At The Disco, you'd know, then. Well, unfortunately he has a girlfriend named Sarah Orzechowski--whom I really hate. And that Orzechowski girl once had a Twitter account named hellosawah. Nah, it started can be read right here. Ahaha, as you know how insane a fangirl can be! Imitating band personnel's GF's Twitter account is just a trivial thing. :-X

helloxenia. <--it's combined from the hello and MY NAME.

I created my handle from a combination of the literary concepts "Chekhov's Gun" and "MacGuffin". I wanted to be Chekhov's MacGuffin, but the code wouldn't allow apostrophes and I thought MacGuffin of Chekhov sounded stupid.

Huty wrote: I took the full name from a videogame, but people got lazy and just left the first two letters away, so I did the same.
Now I'm here, using this name (which is apparently also the name of a town somewhere in Europe).

(No, you still don't really know where I got it from, but that doesn't matter. :-*)
Those first two letters wouldn't be J and E by any chance?  If so, can I call you A.D.A?

Well...My story is, that originally, my name's nickname is Mizo...(i know it sounds gay but I'm Arabic so it doesnt rly sound gay in for arabs.) Combine it with Mazzika (it means song,or any word thats close to that meaning-- in arabic), and it becomes Mizzicco... Tada!

But fortunately no one uses Mizo to call me, only was my parents when i was young...thank god they dont say it now its so embarrassing  :-[

Me, it's obvious..

Tantei means detective
and
Conan is Conan, himself..
1603 is a combination of my fave number (or the date of my birth) and my BFF's fave number. ;D

Fanged Loathe started as a character I created for a story (he's still not hammered out, so the story is simply imaginary at the moment, don't bother looking).  It's become a staple character and staple name I throw out for usernames online and other such things.

As for where I first came up with it, goes back to the methods of the character.  Rearrange the letters of "Fanged Loathe" and you get "Angel of Death."
